Getting them in late but, here are my numbers for last week.
Week of January 28- February 3
Total items in store start of week: 260
Total items in store end of week: 262
Total sales: $245.94 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 10
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 3.8%
Average Sales Price: $24.59
Returns: 0
# items listed: 12I did a decent job listing, but increasing sales kept my number of listings down and I failed to meet my goal for the week of 270 listings. So, the goal for this week remains the same.
Next weeks total items in store goal: 270
One of my primary goals right now is to list more items faster, and photography plays a big part in this. I want to take photos that require no editing and have them uploaded automatically to my computer. I am going to get a lighting kit and a wifi camera to accomplish this.
Is it realistic to take photos that don’t require edits, or am I dreaming?

My goal is to make a $1000 a month clear to supplement my pension when I leave my day job in a few years.
I am looking for a new camera that is wifi capable. I would like the pictures to be uploaded to a folder on my computer as I take them. Any suggestions?
ThanksWelcome from another Salt Lake City scavenger.

Thanks for posting those figures. Yes, I realize every ones results will vary, but your example helps give me an idea of how many listings I need for my goals.
Sales were slow for me this week and I had no big ticket sales to bail out my numbers.
Week of January 21-27
Total items in store start of week: 250
Total items in store end of week: 260
Total sales: $114.97 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 5
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 2.0%
Average Sales Price: $22.99
Returns: 0
# items listed: 15I was pleased to hit my modest listing goal for the second week in a row. It’s a long road to 500, but I will get there slowly but surely.
Next weeks total items in store goal: 270
Those numbers are inspiring. Thanks for posting them. By any chance do you have the corresponding number of items listed? It would help give us any idea of what it takes to generate those kinds of sales.
Thanks and good hunting.
It seems that there are some less than favorable terms in the fine print of the promoted listings agreement. From what I read here it also appears to cause problems, like what has happened with Linda Shield’s store.
I am going to avoid using promoted listings for the time being. I may reconsider later when the dust has settled.
Is there anything you can do to get those dimensions down? Build a box or cut one down?
01/22/2018 at 2:20 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 344: Decluttering and Auction Cravings #31042This was a HUGE week for me, but not in sales. I finally paid off my business credit card which I had ran up during my foray into the world of wholesale buying and reselling. Finally, my profits will be my own again.
Week of January 14-20
Total items in store start of week: 240
Total items in store end of week: 250
Total sales: $216.99 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 4
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 1.7%
Average Sales Price: $52.25
Returns: 0
# items listed: 10Sales were slow for me last week, but my ASP was high. Of course that doesn’t mean a lot on such a small number of sales.
I did manage to get some listing done, and managed to hit my weeks goal of increasing my total number to 250. I am shaking off my listing funk and getting motivated again.
Next weeks total items in store goal: 260
Nice post. I like the pictures and the write up for each item.
Thanks for sharing it with us.Fee increases of any kind are easily dealt with. Just pass it on to the buyer. It’s the American way.
If that’s the case you should check the spelling of the artists name in the title.
