Here are my numbers from last week. Better late than never.
Week of January 7-13
Total items in store: 240
Total sales: $349.90 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 8
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 3.3%
Average Sales Price: $43.73
Returns: 0
# items listed: 0It was a pretty good week for me considering how small my store is. I sold a motorcycle seat for $200 which helped my numbers a lot.
My total number of items listed is now at 240. My total number of listings continue to decline. This is a good news, bad news thing. Lots of sales are reducing my inventory, but the good news is that money is coming in. However, I must get listing or eventually the party will end.

Welcome Beth.
Why not go for it?
The worst that could happen is you have to get a job later.01/10/2018 at 2:00 pm in reply to: Pick my Poison! (Poll for choosing what dreaded death pile items to work) #30249I would list the largest items first. This will be the most dramatic way to reduce the size of the piles. Seeing the piles shrink will be rewarding.
Some of my piles are so old I have forgotten what’s in them. Last month I opened a garbage bag and found a nice NFL starter jacket. I couldn’t believe I had not listed it. I listed it and it sold for over $150.
There’s gold in them thar piles.
My latest one was “I lost my wallet”
Congratulations on paying off your mortgage. That is an incredible accomplishment.
Week of December 31-January 6
Total items in store: 250
Total sales: $170.93 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 6
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 2.4%
Average Sales Price: $34.19
Returns: 0
# items listed: 2This was a decent week for my small store. A sale of a set of 6 coffee mugs for $60 helped boost my week.
My total items listed are now at 250 with these sales. This number is going the wrong way.:(
This week I need to list more and get it going in the other direction.Next weeks total items in store goal: 260
That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying it.
This had been bugging me for awhile. How do you calculate STR? I have been dividing the number of items sold each week by the number of items listed and multiplying by 100 to come up with the percentage. Is this the correct way to do it? I want to be reporting my numbers correctly each week.
Thanks
That should work. How do I turn on the fire hose?
Week of December 24-30
Total items in store: 255
Total sales: $94.99 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 3
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 1.18%
Average Sales Price: $31.66
Returns: 0
# items listed: 5Things really slowed down for me this week as the Christmas spending frenzy ended. Also, I didn’t put much effort into eBay, so I didn’t get much in the way of results.
My listing production was still weak, but I have great aspirations for the new year!

Happy New Year to all you Scavengers!
12/29/2017 at 11:08 am in reply to: Amazon FBA and MTC (Multistate Tax Commission) tax amnesty #29505Sounds like an interesting read. As any good scavenger would do, I am checking it out at the library instead of buying it.
12/26/2017 at 10:07 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 340: We Reconnect with Cyndi from Amazing Taste #29418I finally had a chance to listen to the podcast.
Thanks for the great interview!

Total items in store: 250
Total sales: $599.96 (does not include shipping)
# items sold: 5
Weekly Sell Through Rate: 2.0%
Average Sales Price: $119.99
Returns: 0
# items listed: 5This was a great week for me. It started out with a few sales and then completely died until Saturday, when I sold two books, one for $200 and the other for $150. That made my week and pushed my average sales price way up.
My listing production for the week was dismal. With all the holiday activity and guests coming to stay I just didn’t get it done. I could have, and should have done better. I have to push harder to make it to 500 listings (2018 Goal).

Happy Holidays to all you Scavengers!

I love watching the video of your pets each week too.
Thanks for taking the time to post each week.
