Very cool to see the lamp right there on The Madmen set!
I’ve had more than a few, had to look up the obscure series. Sold a few however to ‘Gotham’ that were fun on Etsy. Old rusty springs, rusty tool totes, and a lot of broken old gauge dials parts and pieces.
My latest was a plastic creepy Jack in the Box to ‘The Deuce’ on Aug 9, an HBO series about the porn industry 1970’s. Why a Jack in the box!?

Then I’m at Seller’s HubWhatever! I pretty much mentally filter out all of the different looks and directions I’m taken, just click click until I get to where I need to be. Maybe burnt out on the changes, but not aggravated and only wasting a few seconds getting to where I need to go. I don’t even bother trying to modify my landing pages anymore. Could be a lot of veteran as well as new ebayers are doing the same thing.
I understand your position in pinning some of this stuff down for the sake of forum questions and I’m sure your tech background raises your curiosity more than my non tech background does for me. I’m more amused than curious and just stumble along with success.
Ignorance is bliss for me with a lot of these changes and I also cop out and chalk up a lot of it to ‘there is a method to their (eBay) madness’.Some great sales!
The Surveyors Tripod is interesting since we know many online sellers pass up those longish, kind of heavy/bulky, and difficult to photograph items. About two months ago I picked up four older wooden long bows. I passed them up the first time around when they were priced a firm $10 a piece. The following week they still sat on the venders table, so I low balled at $12 for all and he sold. They sat in my garage awhile until I too got tired of moving them around. Research, photographing and listing was a pain yet I knew some money was to be made.
I sold them last week for a best offer of $189.80 plus shipping to a buyer right here in Florida. The longest was 72 inches so I had to make a box out of three boxes. In the end, glad I picked them up.Steven, I did this after ‘retiring’, military consignment builds for vets, military armor/arty 1/35 mixed plastic kits with resin and custom parts on diorama style bases, also some military 1/72 for very serious war gamers overseas, UFO’s vs Panther tanks, for example! Ruined a perfectly good hobby! Have not built one up since! An entire different deal doing it for money. Interestingly, if you get your process down, the hourly rate is not half bad. Shipping eBay/etsy a breeze after shipping these loose fragile consignment builds!

Advanced selling for sure, especially with the prices you are getting.One solid equal to whatever it claimed to equal in individual sticks. I have another up for $36 ( sale price), but not the more coveted Teaberry flavor, another Clark flavor, cinnamon maybe.
May as well show this one, kind of unusual. Being an old toy guy, gum and candy pops up now and then amongst the toys.
