Ryanne were you able to fix this? I’m still getting the emails. I even went to paypal and unchecked a few things there…
Thanks Mike π
Yep, this an ongoing problem for me. Counting and recounting and recounting. Its ridiculous. Now I have listings with missing pictures as well. I’ve also noticed when I bulk revise I click next and all the item specifics I just saw on the previous listing have transferred to the new listing Im revising. I back the hell out of there and cancel the revisions. I think the glitch monster is attacking my store hard core. I’ve heard sellers, selling items that the pictures dont match with. When I call ebay I get no where. I’ve escalated several times, always promised a call back. Never get one. π
So I just sold another item from a listing that I updated last night! This is the same item I sold last week that I was out of stock of. GRRRR. I guess there is no point spending hours going through the other half of my inventory tonight if it will just revert back…
Absolutely not. When I have multi quantity listings I always use GTC for that exact reason. In addition I found 6 listings that disappeared altogether. These were also GTC and the only way for them to disappear is if I deleted them. And I did not.
I’ve purchased shoes with 2 different sizes. 1 time I didnt catch it and shipped them out. Last pair I tried to make lemonade out of lemons and listed each one separately as amputee shoes. Both came back because the buyers didnt read the title or description. π Wont do that now with free returns…
You also lose that handling fee when the item is returned. As far as poshmark goes, I’ve sold 300 items there with only 2 returns which were my fault. It is understood there are no returns and because of that people dont try it. With free returns on ebay it is understood if it doesnt work out, no skin off their back, just return it. No restocking fee either. With clothing never make the mistake of doing free shipping and free returns. You will get burned very badly. As far a people who want to do posh, its a different type of buyer and the social aspect of it is really annoying. I have a bot who does my sharing. Yeah I said it. Its a dirty word on poshmark but if you want to free up your time doing things that make you money like listing you have to. And totally worth it.
Thanks for the response. I had the same issue with inkfrog and they could never make the inventory match. If you dont mind I have a few questions. How many listings do you have? I have 1900 individual listings with 3100 total multiquanity. If active listings dont get relisted I will never know which ones. π I am very interested in never having to relist again. I am constantly doing sell similar if the views are under 30 or have no watchers. I spend quite a bit of time doing this. Scheduled listings sounds amazing and cross promoting to etsy as well. Do you print shipping labels from the program? Im sick of bouncing between my ebay stores, and amazon. This would cut down a little bit on this. Do you ever log into your ebay account or do you just log into sixbit? I’m afraid aborting my ebay will create more confusion with all the unsolds staying there. I would love a template with photo gallery like inkfrog but I guess they dont offer that? Any other features I didnt mention that are worthwhile?
Thanks

Thanks for the info. Is it compatible with a dymo printer? What other platforms does it work with?
I think the clothing sellers like myself will get hit hardest. My return rate is 5% already which I think is super high. With 6-10 photos and measurements included I dont understand why its so high. I have it turned on in my second store and had 1 return last week. A pair of $20 jeans that cost me 7 dollars for return shipping. Also lost my 4 dollar restocking fee. It really hurt. I have added .25 and .50 handling fee to all my listings to cover this added cost. If my return rate stays the same I will keep it. Only time will tell.
When buyers send a heartfelt message with a lowball offer I usually cave.
I only use 2 options and I always counter. 1) If its highly offensive I counter at 1 penny less. 2) If its under half price then I counter with my best price and indicate that in the message area. I have a hunch that ebay keeps track of how often you decline/counter. I believe that if you always decline ebay will push your listings down in search. Why would they bump it up? Youre not being flexible and professional. This is why I always counter no matter how angry I get at the offensive offers even though I would LOVE the satisfaction of declining. Also I hate accepting half price offers even if Im desperate to dump the item. I feel like it teaches buyers half price is acceptable and encourages it.
If you print a label through ebay, they will know what the original shipping cost was.
