I tried inkfrog for about a month and hated it. I just downloaded sixbit yesterday and my active listed inventory is not matching up. I have refreshed multiple times and am currently re importing. Its off by almost 90 listings. I am concerned I cannot trust this program. I know there are a couple sellers who swear by this program on this forum. Do you run everything off of six bit? I’m afraid I will lose listings by giving full trust to it.

We use SixBit all the time, and we love it.
The initial setup takes a little bit of work, but it should run fine after that.
Contact SixBit and set up a session with them and they will get it taken care of. They can do a remote session where they control your computer and can see and fix any issues you have. You can also have the tech on the phone with you and they can explain anything they see and you can ask questions directly.
You won’t lose any data at all. When I did the implementation, I actually went back 30 days and pulled in too MUCH data. We haven’t lost anything yet!

Thanks for the response. I had the same issue with inkfrog and they could never make the inventory match. If you dont mind I have a few questions. How many listings do you have? I have 1900 individual listings with 3100 total multiquanity. If active listings dont get relisted I will never know which ones. 🙁 I am very interested in never having to relist again. I am constantly doing sell similar if the views are under 30 or have no watchers. I spend quite a bit of time doing this. Scheduled listings sounds amazing and cross promoting to etsy as well. Do you print shipping labels from the program? Im sick of bouncing between my ebay stores, and amazon. This would cut down a little bit on this. Do you ever log into your ebay account or do you just log into sixbit? I’m afraid aborting my ebay will create more confusion with all the unsolds staying there. I would love a template with photo gallery like inkfrog but I guess they dont offer that? Any other features I didnt mention that are worthwhile?
Thanks

Tina: T-Satt uses SixBit because he basically likes the way it looks on his screen. I use WonderLister because it costs less. Both owners came from the Blackthorn Team and were Ebay employees for years and also worked on the Ebay Turbo lister program before Ebay stopped supporting and writing code for it.
John and Chavi were former project partners. John owns SB and Chavi WL. Both of these companies came about because they wanted to build and market a platform that was better than Turbo lister and Blackthorn combined. Both of them succeeded. I have used both. They both have Ebay send every bit of data that is available to them directly and they store it in their programs. Both will do everything Ebay does, plus cross post of other platforms. SixBit got Etsy going first but WonderLister got Shopify going first. Etsy will be coming out this fall. Also WonderLister automatically posts Tweets for us and InstaGram and FaceBook Market is on the agenda.
Also both have strong sorting, filtering, cutomized views that you control how you want to see the data. SixBit and what T-Satt likes is they also let you custpomize the data entry fields a little more than WL.
Finacial data goes back for years and is always there. Email programs are available. Sales reports by state, consignors [if you have any] and just so much more.
Both have 30 day trials. both will import your Ebay listings so you can try it and by the way, they don’t destroy your Ebay dashboard data, they import not delete things so if you dont like either of them. Abandon and go right back to using your Ebay interface.
We have our Shopify store just about set and will be moving about 900 plus items over to there this weekend. Then we will do the same when WL gets the Etsy interface all worked out.
Using either of these programs is like NASA’s Command Central. Everything you need to do right in one place. And with both, if you build a relationship with the team, they will also design and build in anything you want to have your version do thngs that the public versions won’t. MY WL has custom code written to allow me to have a lot of custom data fields to hold data about my listings that Ebay doesn’t have a space for.
Go to both web sites, open up two browsers at the same time, reduce your screen size or use two monitors [that’s what we do] and place each side by side and compare what all they do.
Then call them and talk with them personally. I did that years ago and also think T-Satt has also. Then ask them all your questions, tell them your fears, ask them can they do this and that for you. They are designers and love a challenge. Also they may share what is already on the drawing board. I know certain things that WL is going to be doing but that has to stay in the bag until release time. Don’t want SixBit to get hold of some information and certainly I am sure John and his team at SB feels the same way. Competitive advatge things I am sure you understand.
If one is serious about running any type of online business as a full time business, then as the CEO and CFO of your company you deserve to have Enterprise wide type of software to help you drive your business and achieve the level of success you aspire to.
Good luck in your hunt…

Tina: Mike is right on all his points.
We are at 2200 active listings now, and are moving to 3000 by the end of the year, with 4000 in 2019. Regarding active listings, the good thing is that SixBit is a database. Once the listing information is in there, including photos, then you NEVER lose it.
One check that I do weekly is to make sure that the number of active listings on eBay matches the number of active listings on SixBit. Every once in a while, SixBit will auto-relist something and it doesn’t make it to eBay. No problem. I can find it quickly and resend.
We were like you. We spent so much time relisting that we could see a time sink coming that took away from new listings (and we believe in the sales boost with 30 day vs GTC). SixBit solved that for us.
We LOVE Scheduled listings for free! We are going on a 4 day vacation from Sunday through Wednesday, but we will still have new listings hitting every day through SixBit.
We ship through Shippo, so that all shipping is in one place. eBay and Etsy are automatic on Shippo, and I manually enter TrueGether and Bonanza when they take place so we don’t forget to ship them (like today!).
I log into eBay, but it is to manage Promotions, Promoted Listings, resend invoices, etc. We list through SixBit, and get financial and inventory data there, but still do a lot of reviewing and working the administrative side of the business in eBay.
SixBit does have templates (we have about 30 of them in use now).
Mostly I love the ability to search for items active, sold, etc. in so many ways. How have Brooks Brothers dress shirts sold and for how much? How many Merrell shoes do we have active? Just the ability to quickly see what we have, make changes to listings in bulk, etc. is something we love.
If all your active listings don’t download to SixBit, contact them. You should have Gold Level support for the first month, so they will be on it. Tell them Troy and Veronica say Hi! Especially if you talk with Steve or JC!
