As an update, the Keynotes and Workshops will be available to stream in about a week. Check here…
Veronica swears by the Dr Martens Wonder Balsam. She loves the edging stuff as well.
Black marker if she can’t get the price off the bottom, she will just block it out.
Ryanne: Yeah, I guess. At least he showed how he got there.
Tell him that there is this website out there with a great forum that he could learn from, called Scavenger Life… 🙂
Sonia: “I also have a few tins of shoe shine, but I’ve stopped shining shoes for the most part. The most I do these days is wipe with a wet cloth, and wash down plastic soles that are very soiled.”
Check Tino the Sole Advisor on cleaning shoes. We use a lot of his stuff, does amazing work in a short amount of time.
My only items are a sharp pair of clothing scissors to clip extra threads and a wet cloth to spot clean missed spots.

I’ll bet…I have more tweaks to do when I get home. The F Up on the Sport Coats going to Suits was bad enough, but I will have to adjust my Polo shirts to the new category as well as play with Athletic stuff so that it goes to the new categories.
And then I update the templates.
I REALLY would like them to be done playing around for a while. Let us execute on sales for the rest of this year!
08/02/2018 at 3:26 pm in reply to: Buyer asks to ship to different address than on the account: Do or Don't? #46711If you have a message from them on eBay asking for the change in address, you are covered. We have never had an issue sending to another address when they have messaged us on eBay for the change.
If you are nervous, call eBay and ask if they see anything suspicious on the account (like it may be hacked, therefore the change in the address). I would likely only think this happens on higher end items. eBay should be able to see if there is suspicious activity (like a lot of purchases suddenly with new addresses requested).
Just make sure they are messaging you on eBay. NOT on email. All communication with the buyer should be on eBay Messages.
I agree Jay. That is why we bifurcate our pricing. If it is rare, has value, unique…price higher!
If it is a commodity, price to move but within the market. For example, I may see that a certain brand of shirt goes for top line of $30 (a few of 300 sold), then there is a large grouping of them that move at $22 (price support). I will price at say $29 with an auto decline at $20-$22.
I get the most I can while still having flexibility to move down on an offer.
Ryanne: You could mention this to the seller and see what happened to the extra money (since you know the difference). See if they make it right. If not, leave negative or neutral feedback on the issue.
Great idea. I would love to add this to eBay as well.
I’m going to forward this on to eBay…
If they have ghosted you on two messages, and aren’t willing to contact you to make it right, negative feedback at least. If you don’t need the shoes, open a return case. I would also contact eBay to have other options discussed.
I try to have a heart (maybe they are gone on vacation?), but it only goes so far.
We ordered some toner on the $119 discount day before eBay Open. Printed the label same day…didn’t take to the post office until Monday. I contact him and he got back saying it was a mistake.
All it takes is good communication
Interesting cases. What did eBay say about these when you called?
This probably won’t automatically move. You will have to recategory these items to the proper place.
I’ll have this fun tonight when I get home myself. I’m lucky that SixBit will make it easy.
Heads up that Polo Shirts will have the same issue…
Unique and solid value items, price on the higher side of solds. It may make it longer tail, but the rare items that have real value, get what you can and take offers (with an auto decline level to avoid wasting time).
On more commodity items, pricing usually 90% of top of solds with a floor of the grouping that I find. I ususally find in items that have a lot of comparable solds, there is a price support at a certain level. That is where the floor is (on auto decline). I like the more commodity items to move, but not below price support (don’t give it away) with the chance for upside.
Welcome! How fast do you see things sell on Etsy? How big is your store?
