They were at the lower end of the spectrum but so was a lot of famous name audio gear like Marantz and Sansui unless you were buying their top of the line.
The amp and turntable might bring $80-90 each, the Cassette deck $30-40.I would try and sell it locally first as a system, aim for someone wanting to get back into or trying vinyl for the first time. A plug and play old school format system that’s also iPod/Bluetooth compatible via the aux in.
Have it set up to demo for a potential buyer, there’s a lot of hipsters out there that don’t have a clue as to how this stuff works but think it’s cool.
Of course you’ll do better selling seperately on ebay, but be prepared with packing materials and boxes so when they sell you’re not scrambling. Selling locally may work OK given the high population density of the Atlanta area but vintage stereo guys on CL are for the most part very frugal.
As far as the speakers, what your talking about is just the center dust cover or cap, doesn’t effect the sound, you can try pulling it out with a shop vac hose, I’ve done it with a varying success rate, should’t effect the value too much if you describe it.
Depending on the cartridge the stylus or needle might not be too expensive, always best to sell ready to use.
I’m interested in what components these are (forgive me if you already said), I may be able to give you some value and or information on them.As far as the drain system goes, I too had concerns as once or twice a year we get a torrential downpour. There has never been water in the basement so I’m assuming the drain is dug pretty deep. It may even be tiled into the city runoff sewer system.

Yes, I’ve sold a number of mismatched shoes and boots, although they were all bought by accident. They went for better than average price too.
Single shoes sell as well.That was a nice sale on the Sony 8 track. The recording models get the most money.
Those rubber belts are similar to turntable belts, they decompose with age, a real gooey mess to clean. Alcohol works best, a little for cleaning a little for me.Ah, you have big playing field in the twin cities. I bet you scavenge a lot of nice things from Northfield, love that town.

I grew up in Mankato and now live in Sioux Falls.Yes, Adler was a Sears in house brand name like Silvertone although I think it predates that name brand. I think Adler was a furniture and organ cabinet manufacturer Belford Sears bought the name.
You need to pull those grills off and see if the surrounds are intact, if they were rubber they’re most likely rotted.

Regarding your pestering t-shirt guy, Perhaps if he bought it thru Bonanza or Truegether he would be happy with the price as it’s always a bit lower than what you have it listed for on eBay and he couldn’t leave you bad feedback on your eBay account either.
Not to rain on your sale of the pocket watch as you made some decent money but a few more keywords like hunter case, 8 Day and some patience might have netted you doubled the price you let it go for.
Hebdomas is not as widely known except among collectors but the movement and style is sought after, they were the first to have the visible wheel.
