You will need to put in the listing an eBay approved disclaimer that you will only sell to an authorized buyer. If you google it you can cut and paste it into your listing or find it on another listing.
I’ve never had a buyer actually sign and send the statement back to me.
Price high and you’ll get it.
Ship it ground service.-

It cost about $25 to ship it from Sioux Falls to Washington state via Parcel Select.07/25/2017 at 9:12 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 320: Spinning Plates, Keeping It All Going #20805Hike and scavenge…can I come with you?

• Cost of items purchased this week $30Attended a family reunion to celebrate my mothers 90th birthday so I was away Thursday thru Saturday. Found a cool lamp while perusing the local garage sales with my daughter who found a lot more than I did for her Poshmark store.
One big sale a week is what I need usually and the guitar amp sold late Saturday night.
Maybe just lucky, I just looked at solds and figured with all the air guns for sale it wasn’t an issue.
07/12/2017 at 12:03 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 318: Spending Money Should Be Painful #20304I’ve honestly explained the process involved in selling items like that to sellers that tell me it’s worth this much on eBay.
I tell them that you need 12 good, staged photos, no flash or quick blurry ones. That you’ll be waiting a month or more to get a good price. You’ll be answering questions. Then the hassel of proper packaging. And finally, ebay will back the customer up for 30 days if they perceive a problem or misrepresentation of the item and Paypal even longer.
I’ve seen the realization hit home in some people and have worked out a price.
Most people think it’s easy cash for their stuff on eBay.
Give them a call, that sounds like some amazing equipment, but do your research and make sure it’s all working.07/12/2017 at 8:03 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 318: Spending Money Should Be Painful #20293Oh man, that’s the worst.
He’ll never sell it on eBay, it’s too much work unless it’s all you do.07/10/2017 at 7:34 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 318: Spending Money Should Be Painful #20216July 2-8 2017

I hate spending money. It’s been in the 90’s since June and I’m putting off getting my AC replaced, I think I can make it until next spring.
I will spend money on inventory without hesitation if I know I can make my margin.07/09/2017 at 2:00 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Cateye glasses, Merrell boots, paint pallet, devil costume, 1970's steam iron, Carhartt jacket, concert T-Shirt #20161We get em every night.
I remember them growing up in Minnesota as well, even driving through a swarm of them and having the windshield glow.07/06/2017 at 8:05 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Cateye glasses, Merrell boots, paint pallet, devil costume, 1970's steam iron, Carhartt jacket, concert T-Shirt #20121Norman seems to take the heat well, I have no AC so he does like to hang out in the basement.

• Cost of items purchased this week $50Regarding summer sales. I have not been a victim of slow sales over the past 3 summers but this year is quite different for me. Although my sales dollar totals have been average due to some high end items selling each week, the number of sales have been way down. Makes the job easier but I worry about the weeks ahead that may not have a high dollar item sell.
I really think it’s just luck of the draw, I try not to read too much into what I am or am not doing that’s different. Clothes may be the one factor that’s missing as I don’t do nearly as many as I used to. My number of items listed is just over 800, I seem to gain about 100 each year.
