it was mostly due to time restraints. running 3 businesses and Scavengerlife podcast and forum takes a lot of time (oh, wait, all of my time). so doing 2 podcasts on sunday was tiring, though i do love S&B still. we could have built up the community over time, as we did here. but 24 hours in a day is all i have. also, that business is really just humming along, we clean the houses, do the laundry, people rent, repeat. would that get boring to talk about every week? maybe not, since lots of things happen that are learning experiences all the time (make sure you change the batteries in your smoke detectors so they don’t beep at 3am? um yeah) i wish i had more time to do S&B for sure.
you don’t get paid on Mercari until your buyer gets the item and says it’s ok? that sounds like a seller’s nightmare imho.
my thought is that ebay would associate the IP address with your default home address. not sure if it’s possible for them to cross reference those two, but that’s my instinct. it’s an interesting question for sure, since we’ve heard of them banning multiple accounts on the same IP even if the other account was not doing anything wrong. (i’ve only heard of this happening once though)
see i actually had a snipe (guess it was too low!) on your pencils. because i would have sold them one by one. some of those pencils sell for $50 a pop on their own.
just different techniques is all.
