ah that’s smart, i would be afraid that people would pour hot grease in there and not wait for it to cool. i’ve seen people do some wacky stuff with bacon grease (as mentioned in the podcast, get it on the ceiling, throw it in the lawn and stain the walkway on the way…)
i bought a carton reducer that does this very task
what did you order?
yeah plumbing problems are the worst, esp when someone is about to/or has checked in.at least they’re making changes in the summer and not in 4th quarter holiday season?
i love a good kanban
we like to borrow corporate speak if we think it makes sense to being a scavenger hobo ; )
yep The Profit is a show on CNBC with Marcus Lemonis. there is a spin-off called The Partner, that we haven’t watched yet.
nope, it would just be plain blogger blog comments.
what does the top look like?
would love for people to post on the other blog, as Ashley doesn’t see this thread, but she sees everything over there and on Youtube–
http://www.shampooandbooze.com/so funny you mentioned tissues, i’m editing the next episode where we talk about bathroom amenities. TISSUES! in the bathroom, in the bedroom! totally.
i buy the square boxes in bulk at Costco, i used to buy the super cheap ones at our outlet grocery store, but they were pretty crappy. so i buy the soft Costco brand or Kleenex if it’s on sale. so much nicer as a guest to have those, as you experienced.we also put out makeup wipes, bought in bulk at Walmart. they are not cheap, but they do save our towels a majority of the time. but yeah, towels get stained with makeup, that’s going to happen no matter what. amenities matter!
you’ll just have to wait and see, the customer might have their mail on hold because of vacation etc. or their address has a forward.
wow, that’s pricey! OBX?
