It was a good thing to listen through this brass tacks numbers podcast again. The idea of taking agency over your business (and your life) really is so freeing. I would like to tell a little ‘Gated Community’ tale.
Last Tuesday morning was a brisk, dry, and beautiful 60 degrees here in Naples, and at 6:00 AM I left the house to head out to my favorite flea market. I couldn’t get far since my car was towed off my driveway and sitting in a lot pending a $165 impound release fee. After parking the same way for 8 years, and ignoring some tickets about blocking a sidewalk, which I always disputed as ridiculous, my car was towed away at 2:00 AM. “Mommy!”, (I was thinking of a crazy old punk tune), “Can I go out and kill tonight!” Well, after taking the necessary actions with a much cooler head, I took the day off from my job, cleaned my garage and wisely killed the box monster. I got a much needed storage unit, improved my eBay work space, and parked the offending car in the garage (where it honestly belongs). Instead of staying angry, I took action in positive ways. It was the best $165 I have spent in a long time. Oh, and I’m really a lover, not a fighter.
I’ve been tracking my Sell Through Rates since the first airing of this podcast. It helped in my decision to get the extra storage, and will be a helpful stat in decisions and hopefully big moves coming up this year.1/26 – 02/01/20 (no cross listing is done between platforms)

ebay should back you up on that. customer can open a case against it, but ebay should cover that cost since you have free returns. that’s my experience.
