They’re not wiping them out, they’re just not downgrading your rating for 2 months. Your rating is based on 12 months of data, so if you get a ton of defects you’ll be hosed in month 3 and for the forseeable future.
Oh Absolutely. I NEEDED to do this. In the process, I pulled out some new in box stuff that was in there that I am listing today. Several $200 items! One of them is a lego set I bought on clearance a few years ago. A rare occurence where procastinating in a death pile is benefical – now it is worth $200!
I have two unopened containers of clorox wipes. It is sooooooooo tempting to list them as auction, but ultimately it is not worth endangering my store.

New Listings 20So this weekend I did a BIG thing I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I emptied out my 14′ enclosed trailer, moved it, then built shelving throughout and put everything back in. I worked from 6:30 am until 10:30 pm. I am STILL sore and tired! Yes I’m ashamed to say I have a 14′ enclosed trailer that is full of unlisted inventory, but I’m working on it! Getting this job done was critical to convert this space to a useful area. Now I can begin to list it all and put it right back where it was as a controlled inventory.
I’ll be working from home for the foreseeable future so I’ll be getting alot of listing done. “Working from home” mostly means I’m at my computer and phone waiting for someone to send me a drawing to work on or someone to call and ask me a production question. There is ALOT of downtime. So I’m putting that time to use!

I recommend you create a dummy account and give your helper access to that account. That way it is always in helper mode. Photos will have to be downloaded to pc and uploaded in browser.
Last time I attempted to mess with user access, there was no rhyme or reason in how to switch between your own activity and going over to employee access. So if your helper actively uses their ebay account, they may have trouble switching over to work mode.
I’ve asked ebay about this and there is no mobile support for employee access.
Well two things just happened:
1. Our inept Governor just declared the stay at home order.
2. My boss informed me that we are considered essential because of our role in the supply chain of oil/water/gas.So I’ll keep on working from home most of the time indefinitely.

New Listings 32Not bad sales all things considered! I’m working from home most days now, which is nice. I only have to go into the office 1-2 times a week. I fully expect our governor to shut down our state at some point this week. I don’t know how that will affect me yet. I’m operating on the expectation that at some point in the next 2 weeks I may not have a paycheck anymore.
I’ve always just eaten it. If my main sourcing place was an auction house I would definitely do use one, but since I mainly do thrift stores and yard sales it doesn’t help me much.
Where I work, they want all employees with the capability to work from home, to work from home effective immediately. I only have to go physically be there every third day as part of a shop floor support coverage rotation with 2 other coworkers.
I’m gonna get soooo much ebay work done.
We have a friend who returned to China to visit her mother for the holidays. She is stuck there until at the least some time in April.
This is one of those things I find so frustrating being in the generation gap at 38 years old. It seems millenials have zero problems ghosting at all levels of relationships and communication. Being in the gap, I can see why they do it (communication is now super easy, free, and unemotional), but I also can see how wrong it is. After all, I remember writing real letters as a kid!
It’s such a cowardly thing to do.
A common example – buying/selling on facebook yardsale and ebay unpaid items. No longer interested? Just freaking say so! No need to ghost.
I always follow through on communication, because it is the right thing to do. Why is this common decency thing so hard for many millenials to understand?Items in Store 1486

Ouch…terrible week! I didn’t really care though as I was too busy preparing for our trip and worrying about all the virus crap in the media. I had 10 day handling time on my store for the last half of the week and it definitely hampered sales.This week I was able to buy a pair of vintage Converse shoes. I believe they are from the early 70’s or late 60’s and are in awesome condition. One of the comps I have found sold as an auction for $580!!
I paid $25 for them on facebook yardsale.

New Listings 0Been on vacation for a week and a half. I was initially thinking all this reaction is massively overblown, but then I saw a report this weekend of an assessment of the hospital capacity of our country. There are LESS THAN a Million hospital beds in the United States! How is that possible???
I also saw a “tale of two cities” when I traveled back home yesterday. I had seen all the reports about supermarkets being gutted. I had seen the photos of my local stores…it was sad. I stopped by a Trader Joes in Charlotte and it was fully stocked and orderly – noone acting like a fool.
When I got home (coincidentally in the last state without a confirmed case), my local grocery store had multiple departments completely gutted. I talked with the butcher and he said it has been that way for 4 days.It never ceases to amaze me how ill prepared most people are. If you keep a minimum stock on most items, there is no need for panic buying! My assumption is that the folks stockpiling TP also don’t have a 401K.
