So I looked around and found a lot of these programs don’t import either bank info or eBay info so I am not interested in messing around and using a 3rd party plugin and having it stop working a few months from now. I called QuickBooks because godaddy had a discount, this link did not work and I was on a call with them for over 2 hours and they could not figure it out. So I am not sure where to go
I just contacted my reseller genie and they do hook into eBay and download your transactions automatically as well as other platforms, but they do not yet automatically download bank or Paypal information they said I would have to enter this manually.
I started listing to his podcase after this one ended, I did not like the advice he gave to sellers he interviewed. I get it eBay is eBay but If I am selling coins and you are selling books very different. He always had a magically way to follow to get the average sales to $1k per month and then to 10k per month. Something always seemed off about him.
I agree I am not in the business of accounting
I just looked at reseller genie I am not sure how to add your bank account, I don’t want to do this manually I need it to be automatic like godaddy. I am not in the business of accounting this is why I have an accountant. Godaddy sucks for doing this
Ok so I called ebay and they said 250 drafts and they expire in 75 days from last edit. I have 248 drafts and I have some that expired in 31 days so I think it is 31 days

Ok I saw it on your site and thought you used it

Since this podcast ended I looked for another one and found https://www.dailyrefinement.com/ I do not agree with all he says but I gave some of his info a chance. I too would list items live in batches. For example, if I went to garage sales on Saturday I would photograph and list all of the items that Saturday and Sunday. Stuff would sell. I would not have any items to list for the rest of the week. After listening to this new podcast he feels strongly about listing every day even if it is just a few items. He preaches listing all of your items as drafts and then listing from drafts every day. So I started to do this, at first 1 item per day. I am up to 4 items per day. I have not had such great sales as I had in the last few months. I started this in November and though the sales were good due to Christmas but they have kept up. I have to evaluate how many drafts I have to determine if I can move to list more items per day. I can see the sales building. Of course, you have to build up your drafts with the inventory. But it seems to work. besides, it is less work for me. Here is my process
- Get items
- Photograph items
- Make listing
- Add photos to the listing
- Save as draft ( I do all on my iPad/iPhone)
- Every day list the required amount of listings
It works great because if you go on vacation you still have drafts saved up to cover those days. My big issue is getting more inventory to keep this up. He mentions if you list 10 items per day you can see a certain level of returns. He says this is because eBay likes consistent people.
I have not looked at my impressions for me the increase in sales is good enough. I am not sure how many drafts you can have.

Ok does anyone know how many drafts one can have?
Ok I would like to revisit this as now I am seeing websites and even a local Facebook post of someone that has a warehouse with pallets. Anyone doing this successfully?
Marc
Sad to see you go thanks for all of the advice over the years it has helped me make many good decisions over the years.

Here is the item
Interesting once I removed the formatting in the descriptions of the auctions they started selling.
I also noticed ebay put a minimum offer amount in these listings which I never use this feature
