On Amazon, a USPS delivery scan is not proof of delivery, only a signature will protect the seller. The exception is if the seller buys shipping through Amazon, the seller usually has to then file a claim with Amazon to get the money back. It’s not worth it to me.
One of the ones I refunded on eBay had not moved at all past being scanned at Kansas City, which is my first hop, and that was 2 weeks ago. The buyer promised to let me know if it showed up, but it’s a $15 order that I’m not going to spend any more time on. My post office sent a trace for me.
If a reported missing package is an inexpensive item I will sometimes refund or send a replacement if I sense the buyer is being honest.

Just wondering….. #77035I had to refund 2 lost orders last week, 1 whose package was late but finally delivered, and now have 2 more buyers over the weekend claiming they haven’t got their package although it was scanned as delivered. That’s a lot of that type of issue for me, but could be just a coincidence.
I did see a notice that USPS has announced they are adding 1 day to normal delivery estimates except for Express Mail.
This doesn’t answer your specific question, it’s an eBay Motors general tip. For auto products, you won’t have the problem, or will be able to easily get a VERO issue resolved, if you use wording such as “Fits Dodge …”, “For Dodge …”, etc.
I have seen many times where an order from Puerto Rico showed Puerto Rico as the country, which results in an invalid address at best and blocked as international depending on settings. Many complaints about this but eBay ignores the issue.
Most (maybe all) of the new movie releases are being streamed now that movie theaters are closed. Sort of expensive for 1 person watching but with have multiple people viewing the cost per person is lower than going to the movies. The Invisible Man is one of the highest “scare factor” movies I’ve seen in a long time, I don’t know how well that will come through on a TV screen.
If you look at the eBay “Our Company” web pages it’s all shown as eBay. https://www.ebayinc.com/company/ The filing information for the NASDAQ stock exchange also shows eBay, https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/ebay
Are there any specifics provided on what constitutes “elderly”. In my opinion as a 70-year-old individual, “elderly” is relative, I know people 10-15 years younger than me that are much less healthy. I would hate to be classified or restricted by an arbitrary age.
Younger people are often dismissive of old people (I know I was), and although they logically understand they will be there someday it doesn’t really register on a daily basis.
Generally speaking I only run autions on items I know will be in high demand, but I don’t get too many of those. I just piced one of my old listing to try however.
Have you considered donating the N95 masks to your local hospital?
Steven,
I have several long time suppliers who specialize in auto parts liquidations, 2 have retired over the past 11 years I have been doing this. These purchases are generally multi-pallet in the $5000 range plus freight.
I also have several searches on eBay that I make smaller purchases from if the price is right, but those aren’t a big part of my sourcing.
And there is a regional weekly bid lot static auction I go to when I have time, the disadvantage is that I might find nothing worth bidding on or only win 1 small lot (which I don’t know about until the next morning) and still have to make a 200-mile round trip to pick it up.
Up 8.1% from prior 31 days, up 20.2% compared to the same period last year. I sell primarily new old stock auto parts, I haven’t changed my business plan at all. “Needful things” always sell when times are tough.

Jay, I think what the recording was saying is they are not taking any calls at all, go look at the help pages (as if that was the know all, end all). I’ve always been able to get a rep on that dedicated line.
Not all states are enabled yet. If a seller is collecting and remitting sales tax for their home state it would be part of the listing. In my case, I collect sales tax for Missouri residents so the sales box checkbox is already checked. If I uncheck that I see the choices for all states where eBay is not collecting and remitting sales tas.
They are fishing for a partial refund.
