Also, if it is any consolation: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”–Oscar Wilde
I suspect ebay’s “sell similar” maybe makes this sort of plagiarism pretty easy? Don’t know for sure, I’ve never really used it.
Most of my stuff has pretty basic descriptions, so I wouldn’t care, but sometimes I do a lot of research and I wouldn’t want to see that plagiarized. But if I found someone copying I think I’d probably just let it go. I’d have to see some clear dollar value in pushing it.
Or Scandanavian. Can you show us the sticker?
A photo of the type of scarf I’m talking about…
I think it may be Eastern European? A photo of the sticker might help. I don’t think it’s a bunny, I think it’s a woman wearing a scarf tied at the top. Just my two cents.
I don’t have time at the moment to look at the sites Eve mentioned, but I’m thinking of something in between. Rather than this site hosting our blogs, YouTube videos etc, can’t we provide links to our blogs, etc, through our Profile page here? (and our ebay stores, if we are so inclined). And maybe provide permission for the bloggers to post to the Random Board, not the blog post itself, but a link to any new blog posts as they are posted.
Does that make sense?
And Eve, I’d love to hear the Renninger’s story. Was that the Kutztown Renninger’s?
I’m familiar with “Justus” as a surname…but having trouble with the rest of it….and not sure that is right…
Wow, that’s a tough one!
can you show the front?

If I remember correctly, the first “delivered” eventually drops off and the tracking history will look normal. But either way, it shouldn’t be a real problem (except for the concerned buyers initially)
Paul, sounds like quite a haul, even if made under sad circumstances. Hope you get time to share some photos with us!

I’d be curious to see exactly what he said. I think ebay often says things like “Will raise your visibility” and sellers take that to mean “Will give you a bump in Organic Search ranking”, when it may simply mean that your items will have more visibility because, for example, links on your listing page can drive a buyer to your Promotions page.

You mentioned you now have zero defects (I assume you had one before). I believe defects drop off after 12 months. I will know better soon, because I have one “out of stock” defect which I received mid-December of last year. I expect to go down to zero within a few weeks. And you are right, the defect structure was changed radically after Wenig became ebay CEO. The two main concerns today are cases closed without seller resolution, and “out of stock” cancellations.
Sonia, Pretty sure in this context AZ means Amazon, the online retailer.
