Number of items listed this week: 25Slow but moved out some big bulky items. Also cleared inventory by taking a few bags of stuff to the local used book store. Cash and room is a win in my book. Clearing out big, hard to ship items to prepare for an upcoming move. I have tons of smalls that will take up the 30 or so ended items place in no time.

Highest Price Sold: $ 167.00 Sioux Falls Wiener Dogs hoodie
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $ 7
Number of items listed this week: 25Slow week with 2 big sales. The Hoodie is kind of funny. As a wiener dog owner and hockey fan we support the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL. Once a season the Stampede become the Fighting Wiener Dogs and do races at the game and most importantly host adoptions with a local rescue. We buy merchandise each year to support the cause. We bought the hoodie because 2 years ago it was as close as we could get to a Wiener Dog hockey jersey. Of course this past year they made jerseys available for sale making the hoodie redundant.
Thank you for the advice. It had been a long week and I could not figure out what the heck to do. I needed the critical thinking assist.

Slow sales but a coin sale or 2 each week keeps me hitting my goal. Have been listing the heck out of my death pile. I’m down to less than 100 items to get up. After that I have a huge lot I bought which will wind up being over 1000 listings. Death Pile first.

Number of items listed this week: 25Chugging along. Took the time to convert all of my listings over to free shipping this past week. It is easier for me to keep track of that way and simplifies my listing and business policies. Plus combining shipping is easy too.
Still trying to figure out how GSP and free shipping work together. I’ve had customers say that my listings do not mention I will ship outside the US and I’ve had customers order an item and all I have to do is ship it to KY for it to leave the US. Confusing.
I really enjoyed the video recommended in the other thread about listing tips. I will be using those tips going forward and working to update existing listings as possible.
Stay cool everyone!

Number of items listed this week: 12Sorry to hear of your trouble driving into DC Jay. I understand. I’ve worked in DC for 20+ years now. Commuting every day for the first 5, then less and less with telecommuting. As my trips in lessened my anxiety got worse. Because of my location, I commute in via I95 but I know how horrible I66 can be and is on a regular basis. And now I doubt I will be able to make the trip in anymore after not having to go on 95 for 15 months.
Big week, which I expected when I listed the coins I had ready. Lots of little things too.
The mail carrier not scanning in picks ups happened to me back in December 2020. I had 1 of my only return requests on a package that was never scanned in. THat combined with the super slow shipping times, led to me having to refund a purchase. THe item arrived a month after I mailed it but I had no recourse because according to USPS I never mailed it. Since then I have walked my packages over to the local PO annex. Well I walk them over in Spring, Winter, and Fall. In summer I drive over as I am not built for heat. I enjoy the walk in cooler weather and I never have to worry about items not being scanned in.
06/27/2021 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Trav L Bar, Metallica VHS tapes, Record player, TV bezel, Jarts, Danner boots #89488Funny you should mention bootleg. Back before the “Napster” incident, Metallica was fully supportive of fans taping (audio and video) their shows and trading with other fans. It helped build their fanbase since they got NO radio airplay (this is well before the Black album makes them the biggest band in the world).
When Cliff Burton was killed (the Cliff of “Cliff ’em All”) they actually went out to their fans and got the best quality bootleg videos available of their shows to feature Cliff’s playing. That combined with some pro shot footage they had was the bulk of the Cliff em All VHS. Every metalhead I knew had that tape.
If you dig bass playing at all, look up Cliff playing Orion.
6-14-21 to 6-19-21
Total Items in Store: 1521
Items Sold: 6
Gross Sales: 38.11
Net Sales: – 11.45
Cost of Items Sold: $ 1
Highest Price Sold: $ 10 Phillie Phanatic toy
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $ 0
Number of items listed this week: 0Few sales and a negative net, I think that is a first here. The negative was because my store subscription was applied this week and I shorted a day on the week so I will match the Sun- Sat week most of the others here seem to use going forward.
Not worried about the slow week as I did nothing Ebay except ship the 2 sales I had. “Fun” lesson learned, if you offer free shipping and ship overseas, GSP cannot be selected. So instead of shipping the combined order of 5 items to KY for 3 bucks, I had to ship to KY after choosing international mail and paying 12 bucks in postage. Hooray! Oh well, live and learn.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and relaxing as much as possible. Be well!

Number of items listed this week: 20Sold almost all the coins I had listed this week. And I was able to batch up shipments to save on that. Win-Win.
Going to take it easy this week. I have to take pictures of a ton of stuff and I’m slammed at my day job so Ebay will just have to roll on without me.
Thanks for sharing about having a rough week. I get that way sometimes too. Almost always it is something on my mind that I need to reason out and decide on a course of action.

Highest Price Sold: $ 55.00 Sony Microcassette Transcriber
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $ 0
Number of items listed this week: 40Sales picked up a bit, I still think I had a day or 2 of no sales. The Sony Microcassette sale makes me smile. I have now sold the 2 main machines I bought in the winter for $10 for $135.00 and still have the adapters, headphones, and foot pedals up for sale. 🙂
Focused on my new inventory and getting it ready to list. Organizing is something that makes me happy in a zen sort of way. I’ve been taking my time and enjoying the process. Still plenty of work to do.
Hope y’all have enjoyed the long weekend.

Highest Price Sold: $ 50.00 Promo button for Stephen King’s IT book
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $ 65
Number of items listed this week: 30Slow week but I didn’t do much Ebay work this week as I was out of town for a long weekend and taking a break.
Found some nice stuff thrifting and got in a huge lot of items I bought on Ebay, hence the big (for me) amount spent on new inventory. I’ll have over 1000 items to list from what I bought so I’m AOK with that expense. Going to visit a friend of mine who runs an estate sale company with his wife. First time I will see their retail space. I haven’t seen them in over 18 months, can’t wait to catch up.
Lots of inventory work to do. I save stuff up for the summer since if I’m not in the pool I am indoors until Fall.

Number of items listed this week: 20Very slow week with 3 days of no sales. I dealt with the Ebay notice of listings that were going to have “required soon” fields on the weekend. I have a ton of suggested field notices too. Those are super annoying. 90% of the time those recommended fields do not apply to my item, and 75% of the time there is no way to enter n/a for those fields.
On the bright side, pools open soon. I will be swimming every afternoon that I can. My happy place is under water with goggles on. 🙂
