Yeah, I’d like to get rid of them. I was thinking a scrap place because I’m guessing some of them are actually gold and silver (or other valuable metals).
I do have some other old jewelry that I know is gold that I would like to sell but I’m not sure where to take it to get a good rate.
Figured it was a good time for an update. I am closing in on my goal of 950 items. I followed everyone’s advice at about 250 items to start inventory and I’m glad I did, it makes life much easier. I work full time so this is still very part time for me. I enjoy it though, even the grind of listing and photographing.
I still haven’t figured out how to list via the app. I honestly just figured out researching via the app when I am out and about. A new phone that actually works on wifi helped with that a lot.
Thought I would share my store here. If anyone sees anything they are interested in, please let me know. I have make offer on pretty much everything. Just add scavenger to the note and I will be happy to make a deal with you.

They said that the problem was my policy listed a Large Envelope. If it was a package the shipping would have matched. Still not sure if it would have been the $2.71 or 10.50 rate.Oh well lesson learned. It will cost me for this item.
I wish it was a bit more intuitive for setting up business policies and having the packages/envelopes match the selected shipping options.

I have several friends in Canada who I send stuff to pretty regularly. The magic number for that in last year or so has been under 3 oz. Under 3 oz can ship with a Global stamp ($1.15) 3 oz and over is $10.50 for letters.
I was offering the 2 oz shipping to Canada because there used to be a cheaper shipping rate (2.71 for the customer and 2.15ish for me via Ebay). Maybe that is gone. But I still can’t figure out why the customer could get the cheaper shipping but I don’t have that option.
If they matched I wouldn’t be as perplexed. Either it is 2.71 for the customer and me or it is 10.50 for both of us. Just a head scratcher.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I got busy at work yesterday so I wasn’t able to jump back on the forum.
I was thinking about Brother as well based on Ryanne’s rec and the video of her refilling the toner. From what you all have said I guess the newer cartridges can be refilled manually as well. When I went to pick out a newer Brother printer, the chipped cartridge made me think it was locked down in some way.
Now I’m off to do some hard core price comparisons. 🙂

The new rental look very cool. I am jealous of that shower for sure.
When I go to a thrift store I always wrangle at least 1 cart from the parking lot (the further away the better) and bring it into the store.
That combined with being nice to all the employees has resulted in some very good prices/overlooked missing price tags over the years.
Actually I will be a neighbor of yours Ryanne. My Mom and Dad retired there in 2007. Dad passed in 2015. I’d like to be closer to Mom and out of NOVA.
I will actually be up there this weekend for a quick visit.
