By the way, he said thank you again for the valuable feedback! He found it very useful, @MyCottage. Appreciate your help!
Hi @MyCottage, Amit says you are free to go ahead and talk about it. He said just don’t share any screen shots if you grabbed any from Zoom. 🙂
So, share away!
Thanks.

@MyCottage, I am so glad to hear that! I hope they incorporated some of the feedback that I passed along from this group. 🙂
I’ll keep passing along opportunities as they become available as I think it is super useful for eBay to get input from sellers like us.
Thanks again for participating!

09/10/2020 at 7:20 pm in reply to: The New Time Away Settings (Old “Vacation Settings”) – Woo hoo! #81464@ryanne, I’ve shared your deets with our PM. Thanks!
Hi all,
I wanted to thank you all for your ideas on what you would like to see in a newly designed invoice/packing slip. I shared your feedback with the eBay Product Manager and the PM has the new design ready for review. He is interested in finding some sellers that would be like to review the new design and provide feedback.
If you are interested in participating in the review, can you please reach out to me at malinda.bills@gmail.com with your email address and eBay user ID and I will forward it on to the PM and he will be in touch.
Thanks!
Malinda
@mycottage, I love that idea!
Thank you all for your comments so far. Great ideas and I had never thought of printing two per page, but now I’ll try and do that as well. I’d LOVE to save some paper myself!
If you have any other thoughts, keep them coming!
11/12/2019 at 6:32 pm in reply to: What should eBay do to build seller trust in the eBay marketplace? #70582Hey @Sharyn, eBay does have an all new policy hierarchy and content (as of early October) that should make it more clear. They also improved the policy email that is sent to sellers so it is clear to sellers what policy was violated, why it was a violation, which listing(s) were impacted and what sellers need to do to resolve the issue.
Here is a link to the primary policy page on the online customer service pages –> https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/default/ebay-rules-policies?id=4205&st=12&pos=1&query=eBay%20rules%20and%20policies&intent=policy&context=9056_SELLER
You can drill down from the main page to go into the details of a specific policy. Let me know if this is more helpful than what you’ve seen in the past. If not, what would make it more helpful?
Thanks!

11/12/2019 at 2:38 pm in reply to: What shipping-related issues should eBay improve or fix? Share below! #70572@gfd_622 Yes! It drives me nuts that the actual shipping cost is not tied to the transaction in the download report from Seller Hub. I actually download the report every few days/once a week from the orders page and append the latest sales to the bottom. I’ve also added additional columns to the end of my version of the report that allows me to put in the week (e.g., Week 45), the month, any consignment payouts, eBay and PayPal feels (just a calculation), actual label cost, COGS and Returns. This allows me to create pivot tables with charts so I can see how I do week to week, month to month and what my actual net is. Today, I have to look up each transaction on the Shipping Labels page and put in the actual amount I paid for the label. It’s a huge PITA. Also, I never actually know what I paid for FedEx labels unless I go through my monthly invoice (which I never do). That actual shipping cost should definitely be tied to the transaction.
Thanks for bringing this up. I wasn’t sure if I was the only person doing this type of reporting.
Thanks!

We just had our best week on eBay since we started selling in February of 2018.
Total Items in Store: 1,751 (with many multi-variation listings)
Items Sold: 59 – WOW!
Gross Sales: $2,036
Cost of Items Sold: $279
Cost of helpers: $0
Highest Price Sold: $415 (Charles Fizzino mixed-media art)
Average Price Sold: $32
Returns: 1 for $25
Money Spent on New Inventory This Week: $750 – We bought a full garage of new scrapbooking supplies!
Number of items listed this week: Hard to say, most were multi-variation listings, so while not a large number of new individual listings, I did do a lot of listings with a significant number of items in each listing.I’m super excited about all the new scrapbooking supplies. It will take me months to get it all listed and a lot of the sales will be small, but it’s easy to store, easy to ship, not likely to get returned and will be a gift that should keep on giving for years.
11/08/2019 at 1:01 am in reply to: What shipping-related issues should eBay improve or fix? Share below! #70322@jay, I have no problems printing my 4×6 labels on my Zebra printer, but if i remember correctly in the podcast, @ryanne mentioned that your label sizes were different. Is that correct? Can you give more details on your set up? Thanks for the other feedback.
@Sonia, I agree with your comment. The eBay global header isn’t there on the shipping labels page or on the send invoice page. Both pages should have the global header. However, I did notice in the latest labels page, there is a link in the top right corner to go back to orders. Also, after you print your label, there is navigation on the right to “Ship your next item.” That link also takes your right back to Orders as well. For sending invoices, it would be nice to 1) have them open in a pop up window in Seller Hub rather than taking me to a page that doesn’t have the global header navigation. Then, I can just close it when the invoice is sent and I’m still in the Selling Hub.
@Temudgin, I could not agree more with your comment on how we should display shipping to buyers. I default to slow economy service because it’s generally the cheapest, but then buyers that want something fast may be disappointed thinking it will take forever, even though I would likely upgrade to Priority if they are close by because it would probably be cheaper…
@Sharyn, useful feedback on the bulk label printing. I don’t do it that way, so that’s good insight to have. Thank you.Any comments on shipping email communications?
What about the purchased labels page? I would LOVE to see on the Shipping Labels page a column that shows you what the exact cost is for each label so you can see if you over or under paid for every label in one place, including FedEx. I hate that I don’t have an easy way to see when a FedEx label has cost me more than what I thought I purchased when I printed the label.
What else?
Totally agree with this!
10/30/2019 at 3:38 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 434: Do You Have A Business Destiny? #69796Sales are picking up from the summer slump and I’m loving Q4 already. We will have been reselling on eBay for 2 years in February of 2020. I’m really excited about our progress and still have no regrets that we made the decision to resell. The biggest challenge for us is not letting unlisted inventory take up our living space. But, we are developing systems and have FINALLY found a consistent helper so we are making good progress in getting through our piles.
