Good question, I do 60/40 across the board for any items (if I am raising money for a non-profit it is 50/50).
I make 60% of any item sold in the 60 day consignment period, and some days it is not enough!Great podcast! I love the cruise ship comparison, I never really thought of that. I did feel (and still do, especially this month) that opening my store and quitting my corporate job 7 years ago was like jumping off a cliff without a safety net. The scariest part for me is having kids to support and provide for, and employees (I cut that back when I closed my storefront and went all online) depending on me to succeed.
I agree a survival goal and a comfort goal are important to know. I actually redid my numbers in January and have a survival goal of $1250 per week and comfort goal of $2500 per week. Looking at all of this weekly is definitely changing the way I look at my day, and what is most lucrative.Mar 24- Mar 30 2019

Number of items listed this week: 87 (44 personally)We really had a slow week, and I can usually point to a reason, I can’t this week.
When this has happened in the past, I enter panic mode and start losing focus, but
last time this happened I realized I should have had my head down listing to get ready
for when it picks back up.
Reopened my Poshmark store and posted about 15 items, missed an offer I would have taken.
Lesson learned . . .wondering if Posh will be worth the time for higher end clothing, the same as many of you, so thanks for sharing! What a week . . . got through some nagging death piles and cleared them. Unfortunately, no gems in the pile, but I did manage to list 44 items. I am hoping I don’t win this week, and that you guys all blew me away!
I know, I know, even this was out of the ordinary for me! I kept thinking about all of you listing away . . . and for some reason, it just spurred me on. This week will be slower for me, as I need to revisit some old listing and revise!
Good and bad news this week, I listed 119 unique items, which is a record for me. I have not started my taxes yet!
Can’t wait to listen, another disappointing week, but here we are:

average sales price is up, which is getting closer to our $19 goal
surely but slowly, we are getting there.Great! Just send me an email or text and I will forward you the information on the meetup so you can be aware of meetings, it is so helpful. I am actually 2 minutes from LCCC! You can grab our email and phone from our ConshyConsignment.com website.
Look forward to meeting up, my parents also have a business they are retiring from, so it will be interesting to swap stories.Interesting point! Anyone willing to experiment?
Not a fan of the all caps. I find it harder to read and just have a negative reaction when I see it. Then I remind myself that it is probably generational, but I still don’t like it. LOL!
Hi! I am actually from NEPA (Springbrook) myself and living a little down the turnpike now above Allentown. We have a great meetup here for online sellers if you are ever interested in joining. I sell online full-time for a living and always looking to network! I am also in NEPA quite often as my family is still there. Best of luck with this adventure!
I have a white board on my fridge too, but I just list the date and how many items I have in my store when I hit a high. I have been working in my dining room, and that is my prep area. I have to say, my family really puts up with a lot of my work stuff in our living space, but it is how I get stuff done.
Hi Sharyn! So cool we tied, very happy to be back in the action! But I need to start taxes . . . so I may be having a slow week coming up!

Number of items listed this week: 39Did not hit our new survival goal of $1250 per week, we also have not
listed as much over the past 3 weeks. My goal this week is to list my
piles, and see if the increased listing gets our sales moving. I had no shipping
on Saturday, which has never happened. Not a single sale. I have heard you all talk about this happening, but I guess it was my turn to feel the sting! Lol.Okay, week 11, I am putting in early because I am done listing for the week! 39. I really need to buckle down this week, I have 3 consignors to process, and one more coming in on Monday. Yikes! Have a great week everyone.
I am still here! Reinstate me please 🙂 Week 9, I had 28, and week 10 was 27. Sorry to be late, it has just been a crazy 2 weeks and I was struggling to just get the basics done!
Trying to get some listings done for this week, so get ready . . .LOL -
