Old Dad, your comment brought back so many memories for me. I had a 3 foot tall plastic poodle bank when I was a child that I was forever pillaging. I’m sure my hourly rate for time invested was very low as most of the coins I’d saved were pennies. But it was fun.
0 for me last week, 0 boxes as well 🙁
My boxes are actually piles of books that are preventing me from walking freely about my office. Maybe the stars are aligning….
Is it possible the stamp on the bottom says “Herald”?
USPS price change went into effect yesterday, maybe that’s why?
Only 9 for me. Behind already. Fitting that it’s Burns Night, as my best-laid schemes have definitely gone awry!
Sharyn, thanks for posting this. I had the same problem and, thanks to you, I was able to find this alternative method and successfully send the refund without calling ebay.
We use 3 tablespoons (of whole beans) in our french press, which is probably something equivalent to the amount you use, once ground. I can’t imagine using 10 tablespoons.
17 for me this past week.
15 for me, none for the challenge yet. Looks like everyone is off to a good start!
If you received something as a gift, your COGS is $0. It doesn’t matter what the value of the item is. You actually have to have skin in the game (either through purchasing the item, or paying a commission to the original owner) to have COGS, if you want to think of it that way.
You can use a reasonable estimate if you don’t have a receipt, especially when the cost is so low. Using $0 would be the most conservative method.
Hmm, I think I’ll try for 15 per week. Thanks, Amatino, for posting the pop-up challenge. I need to do it, for sure.

Hopefully these sorts of silly mistakes are because they’re focusing 100% of their accuracy mojo on the important stuff. But it doesn’t look good, I agree.
6 for me. Need to get going this week.
That makes sense, thanks to you both for clarifying this.
It looks like Vintage Lacy is the December winner, followed by Sharyn, with the bronze going to Vintage Treasures. Congratulations to you all!
Honorable Mentions to:
Amatino, for being thread mistress and cheerleader/number cruncher extraordinaire
Julie B, for finding the courage to let go of an unrewarding job
UtahBill, for surviving all manner of tribulations and still listing in the middle of them
Libby, for starting a YouTube & podcast on top of listing like a fiend
Happy New Year!
I echo the kudos to Amatino 100%.
Regarding the December challenge, I guess I’m unclear whether it ended Dec 31 or whether it ends tomorrow. Does anyone know for sure?
