I think a lot of us started selling the things we knew well (like Warhammer models?) and realized we could start selling anything. All depends on your time. A full-time job and kids is a lot! What does your partner think about this new venture?
This is the same as the first photo.
I’d guess it’s the fabric of the speakers as well. Likely a cat sprayed on them if they were on the ground. Cat smell is very difficult to remove.
We’ve discussed before that Ozone generators are used by the pros. Not to be used in an occupied space by people or pets.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about your brother getting sick.
The weak spot is paying for the storage. If you could find room at your house or your brothers house to store and process, it’d be all profit.
We had several important bank accounts stop syncing. Godaddy help desk couldn’t help.
We moved to Wave. It has issues too but works for us.
July 31 was Friday. Saturday and Sunday don’t count. Wednesday would be three business days.
Yeah, list 500 items or go home π
08/02/2020 at 8:31 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 474: How Do We Only Sell High Priced Items All The Time? #80287That’s a crazy price for a board game. $300! I would have walked right by it. The power of knowledge.
Sonia, so when a person buys an item, does eBay take out the final value fee, shipping cost, and then send the net profit to your bank account after two days?
We lost the art of cool collars.
Maybe thats the new language with Managed Payments. I believe it takes 2-3 days for the payment to hit your bank account?
That’s interesting. Yeah, if its free and can be classified as a Collectible, why not?
Question for people:
–Do categories really matter in search? As a buyer, I just enter search terms and see the results. I never search inside of a specific categories.
–Will eBay punish me if I categorize something as a “collectible;” if its not? Like, can I list a brand new Nike Golf club as a “collectible;” just to get a free listing?Β (wouldnt do it but just a thought experiment).
Well-said. The issue with those big tax preparer companies is you don’t know who you’ll get. Hopefully that person was a pro.
That’s the good thing about finding a local tax accountant who can do your taxes year after year. The relationship. (see last podcast about how we value our relationships these days π
Β βThe buyer has already paid. Funds are on a temporary hold while the payment processes.β
Is this the exact language eBay used in the message? Never seen that before. I’d call/chat eBay.
Only time a payment is delayed for us is when the person pays through an “e-check”. Its rare.
Depends on how complicated your taxes are and how organized you are. We’ve always avoided them because they just hire seasonal help. If you have simple taxes, I’d just do it myself or use Turbo Tax.
Any reason why you can’t find a local tax accountant? They charge by the hour and can get to know your taxes to do them year after year. We have having another set of eyes on our numbers to make sure it’s all kosher.
Taxes were due July 15 π
