I think those Seller Hub stats are misleading. Because you can’t dig down into the different numbers, it’s difficult to tell what we’re being compared to.
For instance, what is “the market”? We sell all weird items. So is it the “weird market” we’re up against? or just eBay in general?
We just keep an eye on our monthly average. It’s remarkably consistent.
Well, today we’ve sold almost $500 of items and it’s barely noon.
All we can do is list.
During the holiday season, the more we have listed, the more potential we have to make money.Do I assume that you’re a snowbird? I know other scavengers that have wondered how to run an eBay store when they split their time between two different places over the year.
Do you have two stores?
Turn one off when you’re away?Just curious: can you give us an idea of the volume of items you’re keeping track of each month or year?
Our auction was a bust. Just a bunch of junky antique stuff that was overpriced. I’ll take a house clean out any day. But we know we have to go to ten auctions so we can find the one awesome one.
Hope you had better luck.
I feel your pain. I think this is a case of eating the cost for peace of mind.
Even with providing measurements, there can always be disagreements in how the item is measured.
It’s not just you. We’ve had some steady sales but all very low dollar items. I think its the election.
As you said, we’ve been listing like crazy though. Election will over on Tuesday and holiday season will really get going.
I believe if you click your current icon twice, it’ll take you to Gravatar, which is the place that manages the images. Just upload and update your image.
We should create an explainer for how to do all this.

I bet after Tuesday, it’ll all go back to normal.Glad you made it over. I think we need to make the registration process more clear. Any suggestions on what was confusing?

11/03/2016 at 6:29 am in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Grumbacher Paint Set, Vintage Panasonic Tape Player, Neon Hunting Vest #4846We actually had the “notify of future comments” automatically checked. This is why you may have been getting emails you didnt want.
We have now changed to to be automatically unchecked. You will not get any emails if you do not check this box. Just the like the old blog.

There is a new service: https://www.fitshipper.com/
We haven’t tried it yet or compared prices, but could be cheaper. What about this forum: https://community.getbeans.io/
