Dont know the answer to your question. But yes, I think its a good evolution with eBay but also means having to do redo our processes.
This is a great result for a store of 150 items. Great job.
Regarding solar power, I did some Google searching and it looks like lots of states allow you to sell solar power back to the grid (“Net Metering”) : https://www.ncsl.org/research/energy/net-metering-policy-overview-and-state-legislative-updates.aspx In Virginia, this doesn’t apply to small solar generators. Maybe that’s the issue for you.
Yep, Net Metering exists in some states. It allows you to sell back power but only to zero out your bill at best. My point is you cannot build solar in any US state an oversized system to generate power to make money. Simply because power companies don’t know what to do with too much power. We currently like to have central power generation they can turn on and off.
But we have the technology to handle a distributed renewable power ecosystem. Safer, cleaner, cheaper. If you’re really interested, I recommend downloading this recent report: https://www.rethinkx.com/energy
I can appreciate this perspective and we’ve honestly prepared for bot outcomes. Always hedge your bets.
Ultimately once we all agree we don’t want to work together, it’s every man for himself. That’s the lesson I see in our current world.
As of yesterday, son has 7 early college apps in, with acceptance from 2 of those toward the bottom of his list. There are 3 more due this month, but some of the work is done on those.
Congrats that the process is working. That’s great you guys are helping your son so much. I remember applying for college on my own as a 17 year old. Very very overwhelming.
No problem discussing mad max/star trek philosophy, but can we all agree that over the next week or two we will NOT talk politics on here? We lost multiple awesome members last time. I don’t want that to happen again. I’d love to maintain this little bubble where politics seems to not exist and we can all get along regardless of all those identifiers – it’s one of the very few escapes I have from it.
I’ll do my best 🙂
That’s awesome. We’re happy someone can reuse all that fabric in those custom drapes.
!!!!!!!!!
Its impossible to talk about “USPS” as single entity. All post offices will be different. I know some are hard to deal with and unfriendly. Our post office is small and super nice. They’d call us if we dropped off the wrong package.

Good news: we’ve probably had three overseas buyers 10 years claim an INAD on a GSP package.
Im not qualified to say what this is.
Good news is that military nerds will definitely correct you once you list it. I’d go with Antique Frog’s guess and put a high price.
I personally don’t think its a common strategy to buy exclusively on eBay to resell. BUT if you know a category really well, you can watch listed auctions and try to buy them undervalued.
Chris told us how he buys gold coins on eBay to resell: https://www.scavengerlife.com/2014/08/scavenger-life-episode-138-how-to-make/
Easy way to solve the issue: dont do auctions 🙂
Got it. I dont follow all those FBA youtubers anymore that were popular around that time preaching retail arbitrage.
Have they all stopped posting videos about how great FBA is? Or is it all about Private Label and Wholesale now?

But if an international buyer says “item not as described”, even GSP will make you accept the return. The rub is that you dont pay for shipping, so the item rarely ever gets returned because the buyer doesnt want to pay for shipping.
