Trash to Cash. A podcast about making a living on eBay.
WOW, I’ll have to not pass up some things if they can come that clean.
I charge for shipping and most items are not free returns. I had an INAD for item being too small (all measurements were in the listing). I called eBay and the rep said it was obviously buyers remorse and eBay would reimburse me for return shipping fees (of course I will have to call back) once the item is received. He told me he left notes about the case so the next rep will know to refund the shipping cost at eBay’s expense.
My question is how often does eBay cover these costs and for how long? eBay’s income is generated from seller fees so my thought is… in the end we are paying for it anyway with higher fees in the near future. What are your thoughts?
Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
I miss Ryanne’s laugh, Jay’s smooth voice and all the knowledge shared!

I thought it was high as well plus they are putting the tax on the total of the item AND shipping.
