I love the end of the video where you show summer then winter seasons in the same areas. I live in Florida where there is very little change in the landscape between summer and winter so I thought that was really neat to see!
I never post but I watch every Wednesday. Thank you for making these videos!
MollyI have always referred to my “piles” as “Opportunity Stacks”. There is a lot of opportunity to make some cash if and when I list them.

I should be exercising as well Christine. With a full time job and eBay on the side, sometimes we have to give up some things up in order to do both. It’s amazing I can get anything listed this time of year but I took on some really nice consignment things and felt like I had to get them listed so I have given up some of my time for listing…but I do enjoy it.
I listed 26 items.I’m so glad the question was asked about tipping your postal carrier. The “rules” were interesting to hear. We have our regular carrier and the sub (which comes once a week). Since I go into town for my full time job, I take my packages with me every day but Saturday. I have given my carrier fresh yard eggs and in the hot of summer, I will wrap a water or soda bottle in tin foil and put in the mailbox as small gifts. However, I will be going full time eBay this summer so I am planning on giving them cash “gifts”. This way, they will be more then happy to pick up from the porch when I put my laminated “packages on porch” sign in my mailbox. Being that what I plan to give the full time one is more then the $20 stated in their policy, it being cash will just be between she and I and the fence post…just saying 😉

Love your peanut dispenser and I agree…it HAS to be in the office where your scale, tape, boxes, etc. are.Who likes the new label page that eBay has put on? I don’t like it and now I have to go through an extra step to click back to classic label. Does anyone know how to bypass the new screen and stay with the old one?
I sold a pair of 4′ porcelain (grandma and grandpa) dolls for $135 local pick up. I am in north FL and the person who bought them was in NY but wanted them shipped to south FL. He called the UPS store close to me and arranged for me to drop them off there, they would pack them and ship them. I agreed to do that as it cost me nothing but maybe a dollar in gas and some strange looks as I carried them into the store. I called the store the next day to ask how much it cost him to have them pack and mail the dolls…. $210! OUCH!!

I reached 500 listings yesterday! Although sales have been slow, I am listing, listing, listings!
I was able to list 32 items last week. I’m going to slow down now that I reached my first goal and we are in the Christmas season so I need to get other things done.

AKA: ItemsfromthesouthSorry to hear about the NPB on the necklace…that REALLY stinks! What actually happens to bidders who do this? It seems to be happening more often. What really bothers me is when someone makes an offer, I accept it and then they never pay! I know ebay WANTS the buyers so buyers can get away with this but at what point do they stop this? If someone can do it 2 or 3 times a month that is RIDICULOUS!
Maybe eBay should compensate buyers when this happens. It would be nice to receive your selling fees back in addition to an added percentage for the inconvenience.

I posted my numbers 5 times but none of my posts showed up and I did not know how to reach anyone to tell you ladies I was trying but it was not working. Ryanne and Jay said they have heard this from a couple of people but they don’t know why this is happening.
Have fun in the UK! You will have to tell us about it when you get back. Are you going to put your store one vacation or extend your handling time?

The week before, I listed 22. I posted my listing number 5 times but my posts were not getting uploaded. I talk to Jay and Ryanne but they did not know why either. So, needless to say, my numbers did not show up from then. Last week I listed 32 items. I’m almost to my 500 listings!
