My favorite feedback that I’ve received is “I’m quite happy” and “Well done.” I look forward to feedback and do get disappointed when I put a lot of effort into something and don’t get any feedback at all…I sold a $7000.00 (not a typo!) music box and never heard a word!
I am usually a Buy It Now with Best Offer unless I know for certain it is a sought after Collectible. (I had a $4 Yo-Yo sell for $160!) However after having a Designer Watch (Tommy Bahama) sell 30 minutes after posting for full price, I tried a Watch auction. Now I really hope now the Winner doesn’t pay (2 days so far) because they are getting a New in Box (battery replaced) $135.00 MSRP Watch for $20.50! I don’t know if ebay still does Reserve pricing because I don’t use that feature – I feel that if you need to have a Reserve Price, just do Buy It Now….

I absolutely found when I did “Sell Similar” listings that had ended after 30 days, I saw a boost in sales. But I think the key is ANY activity boosts including Buying (as I remember someone talking about before) and just posting new listings. I have made a notes in my calendar to End and Sell Similar around the 30 day mark but my store is very small and I have many market items. It is a great way to review and catch errors too. I am following advise someone (T-Satt?) brought back from Ebay Open that the key was Sell Similar not Relist so it is like new listings. GTC is fine for my odd or one of a kind listings so change does not bother me too much…

I always collect Sales Tax for my State (Massachusetts) and file and send it in myself. I am such a small seller I only have to file once a year (undeer $100). When doing a new listing today I checked the link to “View Sales Tax Table” and Iowa, Minnesota and Washington all said something like: You no longer need to collect, Ebay will do it for you. MA is checked.
I thought I posted a link with the $80 rack on Origami Paper Monster but don’t see it….however thanks for the ideas – I’ll post a pic of what I finally do when I actually get it done! 🙂
Please Ebay don’t ever let “Go back to classic label printing” go away! I also depend on being able to ship from a different zip code than my return address. If the actual Post Office it goes from is not on label, then that office will not get “credit” when time comes for the Government to choose which offices to close.

—————————-It was an email, you probably wouldn’t get this if all your listings are good until cancelled. I get similar emails when my 30 day listing end, but this was disturbing since if I had a huge store and hadn’t remembered I sold it, I may have relisted something I didn’t have.
I still can’t print with Chrome even after going to extreme of uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. I can print through Explorer but can’t download PDF label…
I only ship USPS and I still have the ship from a different zip code option at the time I am printing my label. It may show up as an option because I have a secondary address on my account?
The Ship from Zip is important for the Post Office for when the Government is deciding which ones to close…
For the person who didn’t have a record after 90 days, since my shipping labels are PDF files, it takes me two secs to “save as” in a file in my drop box changing the file name to the date and the Buyer name (9-4-18 John Smith) and that has tracking numbers. (Also handy if printer jams) Then I can match the date and Buyer Name to the PayPal payments if need be.

I have not tried creating a listing from start to finish on my phone, this may be just about using the laptop? I tend to Search item on the laptop, list similar so all my info prefills in, save draft, switch to phone for photos, save draft again, finish up on laptop.The mysteries of Ebay – Mobile friendly checker is working fine today. Haven’t been able to find a bulk editing tool to check descriptions so time consuming to edit every listing. (My store is very small right now, so not too bad to do and actually finding other mistakes I’m fixing…) Your listing will look fine on a phone without Mobile Checker unless you scroll over to see full Description. Error message is usually “Viewport meta tag incorrect or missing”. Press “Fix it for me” but make sure you scroll down to save. (Or close if no problem found).
