@Jay yeah it’s a range of clothing and I am friendly with some of the people involved. The nice thing about this opportunity is that they aren’t looking to turn a profit – they just need to unload the crap.
Depending on pricing, I just may experiment and go with my gut.
I hate everything π I am clothing illiterate. I was wondering if there was a list along the lines of
Yes Lulu Lemon
no Gap.Don’t see how it could be concrete or plaster unless those veins on color are painted on. Great find! Will that fit in a priority mail flat rate large box? (that’s my dream is to send something that heavy for only 18 bucks).
Thanks Mike – You are right on the Brownies – I forgot about those gals.
Purse Hanger it is!
And it is worth (drum roll)
NOTHING!
But I did learn something today. So that was worth the 2 bucks I shelled out. Thanks guys.
On Ebay when I don’t like the shipping method that the system pushes on me, I just buy the postage myself and manually enter the tracking number. Does Amazon allow this?
I gotta say that I have been grossly underwhelmed by Worthpoint. I am paying for just the general search function. The information provide at the lower subscription level isn’t much better than what can be found in the general Ebay “sold items” search. I won’t be renewing next year.
They have a separate library to help identify artists markings but it’s not included with the general subscription. If it worked, I could see the value but I am dubious.
This is just one man’s opinion. I’d love to hear others.
Jay & Ryan – possible topic for an up coming episode “Is Worth point Worth it?
Wow, what a score! I bought the lot for five bucks! It looks like the JSA frog is worth between 75 and 130 dollars! Any thoughts on this other one from the lot? I thought it might be a Robert Maxwell because of the eyes. But I couldn’t find anything in his work even remotely similar. Unfortunately no artist markings on this one.
How to the inventory systems that sync with Ebay work? Thats new to me. Curious what do you sell? Is random thrift store stuff or do you carry a more traditional inventory?
I don’t have time to post an image but if you google”Chinese Character For Double Happiness” you can definitely see a resemblance.
I just sent the image to my brother-in-law (who was born and raised in mainland China). He says it is a design based on the character of double happiness. Hope that helps.
Roping Reseller you and Jay are right I did good. Just curious how did you come up with 43k to 4,000 sold ratio? Is there somewhere on Ebay that tells you the sell through rate on categories?
Thanks Jay!
a second person came in while I was waffling about the offer a second person came in and paid full price!
Here’s hoping I didn’t just sell an original Van Gogh π
Just wondering if the creepy weird art sells better on Etsy. I guess I’ll just give it shot.
