Had a good fabric sale but I choose this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/234816527864 because I learned what linocut is during my research. Another piece where I couldn’t locate the artist. I give up after about 10 minutes now on pottery and art if I can’t find the artist or guess the signature.
Congrats Amatino!
Congrats Amatino on making your goal. I listed 25 on eBay plus about 10 on Mercari. I have a few tubs of our clothing in our bedroom and pick away at that on Mercari little by little. I finally got into listing my March madness death pile fabric on EBay. Not really enjoying listing that. I just need to take the photos on 10 more fabric listings. Happily all my recent purchases are listed.

Number of items listed this week: 25Yep, super quiet and slow. I did have a great day yesterday which is not reflected in these numbers. I am hearing from multiple Youtubers and a podcast that they are slow as well.
I got through all of my recent purchases and rummage sale hauls and made myself get into the fabric death piles. Had a great sale right away but some aren’t worth much. I do not enjoy listing fabric even though it’s not really too hard. Also putting things up on Mercari from our closets and had a couple of sales there for the first time in ages.
The annual neighborhood sale is coming up but I’ve been trying to shed things as we go except better clothing so I can reorganize my inventory in the garage. So I don’t think I will hold a sale though it is a little tempting to get rid of some of the $15 inventory I held onto and things I’m not really keen to list. The flea market is doing better in my area but it’s $35 for the day, not sure worth that. It might be fun to try. I’ve been going but the prices are strong except the clean out guys and I can’t get there too early. However, I did find a seller selling his mom’s stuff – midcentury and was happy to pick up a few items super cheap from him. We don’t have enough of those guys.
I use it sourcing sometimes and listing. However, I find it disappointing on art and pottery marks and signatures.
Just 8 listings. Oof. @VT that’s our hometown. The weather was good and I hope you enjoyed it. 🙂
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334822022057 Found another MacKenzie Childs item. This stuff is so dated looking but apparently there are fans. 🙂
Nothing earth shattering this week. Was tempted to keep this item. Found at the bottom of the junky household light switch covers, random garage junk drawer stuff at a Goodwill https://www.ebay.com/itm/334770682624
I have also found vintage bakelite handles that sold for almost $200 in that area before so it’s always worth a peek in the catch all bin folks.

Number of items listed this week: 8My dashboard listed # items seems to be jumping around each week. I’ve also been having some glitchy problems saving draft listings and then losing some changes from sell similar. Not a great sales week, but I didn’t get a lot of listing done. Have a stressful situation going on that is a drag on Ebay in general this year.
Couple of Ebay regrets this week. I sold an item this week that was fun but the condition (described and pictured) was not great. I wouldn’t list those today with that much wear. I hope the buyer is ok with them. I also got positive feedback that mentioned I left the thrift store price tag on the bottom so she’s not sure why she had to pay so much on Ebay for them. (Smacks head.) Not sure how I managed to to that since I have a process but oh well.
I hope you are finding joy in your current projects R & J, or at least do at the end of them.
11 listings. Lots of random distractions and a bit of laziness I suppose.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334802437494 Found two of these Stephen Huneck prints at a local thrift. For some reason they only priced them at 7.99 apiece, and this one is still in the plastic. I’ve sold one before so I’m thinking maybe the artist did a show here even though I am so far from his hometown. There’s an interesting story about the artist here https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Stephen_Huneck
Write up includes him picking up furniture as a trash elf. 🙂
https://www.ebay.com/itm/234950063477 This pottery was very clearly marked on the bottom. Great brand to look for.

Number of items listed this week: 11Slow week but had one really good sale. It sold super quickly so I probably should have put in on auction, but still a great profit. I have a lot of random outside Ebay stuff going on but also took some tv down time this week. Hoping to get on more consistent listing schedule while my daughter is back to school and as soon as the bathroom remodel is finally finished. I failed last week to get to a box of church sale pottery – the last of my recent shopping hauls.
I heard that Mercari is super slow since they had to raise shipping rates in February. They are probably no longer supplementing labels. Bummer because I like to unload our household better clothing on there. I have three more big bins in our bedroom from the closet clean outs and I suppose I’ll just go forward with listing them anyway.
I also read an article this week about Amazon starting to creep away from free shipping. Last Christmas a lot of retailers moved away from free returns. So hopefully Ebay will let up asking small sellers to do this.
Hope everyone has a good week. Jay I enjoyed listening to you on the tax program.

Number of items listed this week: 24An ok week. I am noticing a general trend of recently listed items being 85% of my sales. Probably should try sell similar again soon. I haven’t refreshed beyond January of 2022. My daughter is on spring break so not sure it will be a great week for listing.
I’m excited to hear about the new R&J projects. You guys have a great work ethic. We are almost done doing a bathroom and I feel like the cost has gone up so much since we last did a big project. Labor and materials. A friend’s relatives moved from California to Utah and they call everything there “half off” – housing, groceries, gas, etc. When our kids are both fully out of the house it would be nice to downsize but I’d hate to start over with remodeling.
Have a great week everyone.
