You’re welcome!
09/05/2022 at 3:22 am in reply to: Favorite thing I scavenged this week. A watercolor painting of a Siamese cat. #97562I noticed in the Item Specifics section that you put 1995 as the year of production and 1990-1999 as the time period produced. I believe you meant to put 1985 and 1980-1989.
I often see moving boxes listed for free on Craigslist and Freecycle. You can also post in both places that you want moving boxes as well.
I use to do that too Amatino. Unfortunately the local libraries where I live are still closed due to Covid -19.
10/06/2020 at 2:29 am in reply to: Buyer Bought From Me to Fulfill Their Amazon Order Now Asking for Refund #82182Scroll down to Not Covered section, 4th bullet down the the 4th bullet under that states:
- The item was sent to another address after the original delivery, or buyer uses a freight forwarder (exceptions which are still eligible for coverage include: eBay shipping programs such as the Global Shipping Program and eBay international standard delivery, and eBay authentication programs)
So if you sent the item to your buyer and then your buyer sent that item to his/her buyer then your buyer is not covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
However if you sent the item directly to your buyer’s buyer then it seems like he is covered as long as the item gets back to you.
12/16/2019 at 1:41 am in reply to: Buyer says “I need to return the air chamber. It was the wrong item.” #71700eBay and/or PayPal may make you take the return. You definitely will have to take the return if they say that it’s an INAD (Item Not As Described). I interrupt the wording “It was the wrong item.” to mean the buyer bought the wrong item. Most buyers would state that you sent the wrong item if that was what happened. However, the wording is not clear. If it’s an INAD you will have to take the return, refund the money and pay for shipping to the buyer and back to you. If the buyer bought the wrong item then if the buyer returns it the buyer should pay shipping both way. As to whether you will have to take the return if the buyer just bought the wrong item depends on eBay.

She has at least 5 posts for swimwear). here is the listing for one of her swimwear lots (https://www.facebook.com/groups/226788811059233/). You can find the rest under items for sale after you join the group>
It is most definitely harder without a car but that hasn’t stopped me from trying. I almost didn’t reply to the posting about the slides since I knew there were too many for me to pick up by bus. I am glad I did reply though.
I have missed on a lot of great free stuff or low cost items listed on Craigslist since I don’t have a car If all goes well I should have one by the end of the year.
When I first started selling on eBay I searched for diabetic test strips on Craigslist as well as posted for them in the Craigslist Wanted section. My local newspaper also let you post for free in the For Sale section which showed up in the paper and online versions. I got most pf my inventory that way. I no longer have a car so I that no longer works/
However, I still search the free section and I can still find items that way. Last week there was an add posted in the free section for many boxes of slides that the poster got from a friend by his apartment dumpster. I sent him an email telling him the city I lived in and that I was willing to pick them up but didn’t have a car so I could only do so if there was a bus stop near his house. A few days later I hadn’t heard form him and was going to email him to see if he still had the slides and if I could pay him to deliver him to somewhere in my city so I could pick them up and take them home in a cab. He lived about 15 miles away.
He called first and offered to drop them off at the bus/train station on his way to work that day.
In the Craigslist post he had stated that although the slides were free of charge the person who he gave them to had the responsibility to make sure they did not end up in the dump. I told him my plan was to sell them on eBay and he thought that was a great plan. He was giving them away because he realized after 6 months there was no way he had time to go through them and he was moving to a smaller apartment. So I got them 3 days ago and I was very glad he delivered them to me. They filled the space behind the 3rd seats in the minivan the taxi sent. I had told them I had a lot of boxes to transport. There were 7 boxes of various sizes, 3 at least the size of boxes that 10 reams of paper are sold in.I am now trying to figure out what scanner/light box I am going to buy so I can list them. James, the man who gave me the slides, said that the date back at least to the seventies and he could tell by the change in the Seattle skyline. I took a quick look through a few slides at the top of one box and they include a lot of forest and water (lakes and ocean) photos and some family photos. I am sure I will take me years to get through these.
