Thank you for your replies. I did some reading on this issue last night and learned that not all packages get scanned initially. I do realize I refunded my buyer prematurely, but I really want to be a good seller.
I did not realize that no scanning was a thing. I guess my worry is that if they accept a package but lose it without scanning it how do I prove they even have the package? I’m better now realizing that all sellers deal with this issue, but I also still feel like my particular location just started to become a bit more lazy.
Thanks helping me through my initial frenzy. This was a $10 lesson, I didn’t realize initially what was going on. I will continue to use USPS, but now I know what to do. Thank you!

Looking at several packages sent in the last week and I’ve noticed there are no acceptance scans on multiple. This really makes me uncomfortable.

So after talking to my buyer a bit, they sent me this. I just love having the full story with this item. It’s just really awesome.
At the moment, I’m a collector although I do intend to display. My goal is to collect a full set of uniforms for a particular airline to show how the styles changed, but even a broad spectrum of uniforms from all decades shows the industry’s changes (can’t forget the male F/A’s that have come in recent years) would be good. We’ve progressed from Registered Nurses to Coffee, tea, or me to Gender Neutral, but F/A’s have always been about caring for their passengers even risking their own safety. That is special to me. I have a plan that one day I’ll display my stewardess uniform collection in an aviation museum.
I’ve had the good fortune recently to acquire large groups of stewardess uniforms for American Airlines (1970s), Eastern Airlines (1970s-80s, some belong to EAL’s #1 seniority stewardess 1946-89), and Air France. I’ve even been able to get two United Airlines Uniforms (1965-1967 from their original owner). This is actually my first Delta uniform addition, so I’m starting with the latest and working back. Usually I start oldest to the latest. Of course this is a grab as available process. I just lost a complete and mint TWA 1944-1948 uniform because I talked myself into waiting – stupid me!!!!
My vision is to create an airline centric museum covering all airlines worldwide. Unfortunately, I find that the supply of classic airliners (both props and early jets) are disappearing faster than they are preserved as little thought is given to them after their useful life is over. Some of it comes from airlines moving on to ever more modern and efficient aircraft, but even third and fourth tier users are just sending them to the junk pile. It also must be considered that airliners are quite large and consume space which makes it more difficult to store them. So my vision may not come to be (at least without aircraft), so I may settle for a contribution to an existing museum. We’ll see.
Stuff my mom threw away, what is heel and edge dressing?
Retro Treasures what is the name of the foaming cleaner you use for sneakers?
Generally, lately I’ve been scoring shoes like crazy on $1 day. I look up brands I don’t know before leaving but come home with 12+ pairs. The nice thing is that many of the dress shoes I find in my area are barely worn due to it being more of an industrial area. Also, all the older people here have the best stuff.
How much would you pay for redwing boots? What if they were distressed or hand painted? I recently passed by a pair at the bins (probably weighed 8 lbs) that were painted silver and had lip decals all over them. They were pretty beat to hell, but I sometimes wonder if they would have gone over well.

I contacted my buyer but they decided they didn’t want to go through the return process. I feel like they misunderstood when I said that I wanted to refund them, minus the shipping and 20% restocking fee… They replied and told me they didn’t know there was one and to give it to goodwill. I think they thought I was going to charge them more? Anyway, I guess the only thing to do is relist the item.

Some of my best memories are of hanging out with my Grandpa watching Star Trek. I am more of a covert fan, but have been considering getting a tattoo of the logo. 🙂

I told my partner that anytime he finds 100% wool LL Bean to pick it up. He looked at me funny and then found a reddit post about their flannels holding up for 20+ years.
Figured it out. I had to search “cancel order” for it to give me the option. I also figured out how to turn on “hassle free returns”.
It reminds me of Israel’s hills, I know other places do this type of buildings built into hills, so I would start by googling “hillside communities”.
Did you ever just put it on? It’s easier with an earring but doing so always makes me mope a little and go on an online searching binge.

We are here to serve 😛
I read that they aren’t “real” money, denomination wise, but what is something like this worth?
Thank you! This will help so much! And yes… more artists should sign legibly.
