Thank you SO much for the awesome advice!
Thanks everyone! I’m trying to get rid of some clothes and I’m going to try this option out. Not a free version, but a buy one get one 25% kind of deal.01/15/2018 at 12:54 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 343: Our Business = Little Things Every Day #30502
Great podcast and commenting on the television props…Ryanne’s right, a lot of shows have auctions. The show Turn had a huge one last year in Virginia. I wish I could’ve gone to it, but wasn’t able to.
That’s exactly what I was afraid of and somehow she’d end up giving me a negative. SO glad it was canceled! Whew!
It was seriously the strangest messages. I called Ebay and they said, “we are aware of some buyers that consistently cause problems.” So I’m thinking that buyer has a history.
That’s right, I didn’t even think of the fact that I could’ve had automatic acceptance on!
I honestly was like, um huh?
For anyone who really is interested in doing Amazon Merch, sign up now. I’ve been waiting since the Spring and I know others that have been waiting to get approved for over 14 months now. Others say it only took them about 6 weeks. Who knows how long it will take!
Local news is so brutal! Nooooo thank you. My fiance started off in local news and he said never again. He’s full time now with the production company versus me who’s freelance. I want to stay freelance, I enjoy the freedom. It’s a great scenario that I want to see stay around. I just need to get my listing count higher, then it’s on.
And I’m off to the post office! Thanks again for all the advice, you two really help a ton of folks. I’ll stay in touch here on the forum and hopefully get Nate (my partner) to join in one day.
Hah! Yeah, it’s a complicated and strange business. It has it’s perks, but it changes SO much that reselling is really what I’m ready to put a lot of energy in. It’s so reliable ironically. I just need to get a lot more listings done.
We thought it was so cool that you guys worked in production too.
No I work for a production company. I work on mainly commercials, corporate videos, and such. My fiance is a DP for the same production company.
