Is there any way to get this thread deleted. Didn’t realize this was public. Thanks!
“It was like I was in an alternative world where logic made no sense.”
Yes. lol. Very frustrating. I need a break for a while, maybe permanent.
Thank you for your replies.

Good point, “If you can’t take the heat(or bullshit)….” I’m probably going to quit soon. I may return when and if ebay adjusts its policy on buyer fraud, tipping it more in our favor. We should at least be able to leave negative feedback to warn sellers. I’ve been selling since 2001, Jay. At some point, you just get tired of watching people get away with theft. eBay helps them defraud by siding with the buyer in cases of obvious fraud! They turn a blind eye to it. Thanks for hearing me out. It is what it is and I’m not cut out for it.

03/17/2017 at 12:19 am in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14710Interesting, the negative feedback he gave me disappeared when I refunded him. Two Ebay reps said that I could do nothing about him lying, even with his pictures that show the plants were alive and healthy. How do you dispute lies about condition?! He’s been reported, though. I’m out priority shipping for 2 pounds. Guess I’ll block him. Hope he enjoys his free plants.
03/16/2017 at 8:08 pm in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14698I will report this customer if he tries to initiate a return. Just heard from a seller who said this customer did the same thing to him. This particular seller has an Aquarium YouTube channel. He said there is no way that these plants could be dead in two days and in water! He sells them quite frequently.
Edit: Reported, so now if he initiates a return, it will be diverted to investigations.

03/16/2017 at 7:52 pm in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14697Thanks. I ended my other auction. That’s the last time I sell aquarium plants. It was an idea, not a great one, though. No more contact from him, but maybe he’ll figure out the return system.
03/16/2017 at 7:31 pm in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14687Now he won’t initiate a return and is getting mad that I sent him dead plants. Explained how to initiate a return and advised him to contact eBay for help. He just wants a refund to magically appear. Sigh…bad feedback a definite outcome here. If I had immediately initiated a refund via PayPal, this would have been fine. Too late now.
03/16/2017 at 7:05 pm in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14681Thanks for your reply, Jay. eBay C.S. looked at the pictures and said they looked alive. I shipped in water, so no way they would die in two days. Told the buyer that they were probably just stressed and to plant them, but that he could initiate a return through eBay. We’ll see. I don’t want to refund the shipping. Two of the plants I shipped are super hardy and will live through very bad conditions.I think I’m being scammed. Customer has one feedback for aquarium items, so I emailed the seller to see if he did this to him as well.

Eight million in cash! And they never got to use it, or were they living the high life, I wonder.
03/16/2017 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Aquarium Plants DOA After 2 Day Transit?! Scammed by Buyer? #14676This may be the first and last time that I sell aquarium plants. I have another aquarium plant auction up, but may take it down. Too bad because I end up with a lot of clippings every few months. Local market was flat for aquarium plant resale, and ebay was the only venue.
I have a negative and a neutral for issues with 1650 feedback. One was for squeaky shoes, lol, (sorry I think of Spongebob every time) and the other for a teeny tiny hole on the top of the shoulder on a sweater, totally missed this. No communication, just bam. It sucks, but it happens to almost everyone at some point. A friend of mine had over 2000 feedback and just got her first negative this year! She is a perfectionist with quality items, but someone just negged with no contact. It doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of your work. In my case, I test shoes now and try even harder to notice quality issues. No one is perfect, though and you can’t control unreasonable customers. It’s just a part of ebay business. You’ll be fine and soon the negative will be far into your history.
Rough days end. They aren’t permanent, just like slow sale days aren’t permanent. Deal with the issues as quickly as possible and then put them behind you.
My cat does the same. I had to get a large plastic bin with a top to store all packing supplies. The tall ones are great because they take up less space. I also have to use this for packed items ready to ship. He will chew on the packages to get at the tape. I have a small table where I wrap, so there is not enough room for him to jump up and pester me. He goes outside, and I usually let him out if he tries to get into my work. Birds, squirrels, and the garden are more interesting anyway.
