Mike: Yep! But the old school Force… 🙂

I’m looking at my Traffic and Impressions, and lots of 0 views, and lots of listings with very low impressions. Some are out of season, but some aren’t.
Starting to contemplate how to have a review of items with low impressions rather than just old items.
The way you should have the buyer do this with Immediate Payment is to have the buyer move the items that they want to purchase into their Cart. Then they can send a message to Request Total from Seller. You can send the combined invoice at that point.
We have had this once or twice since putting Immediate Payment on our listings (since it is a requirement for Guaranteed Delivery).

I have always wondered what her COGS is, because her prices are so very low. Either she just wants the quick cash or her COGS is really low to begin with. I really have to tip my hat to her. She really works hard and kills it on volume. I just don’t want to go to that low of a level at this point.
Good point…
So hard to figure out the SEO on eBay sometimes. This was the whole reason that they installed Cassini. It eliminated the keyword spamming that some sellers did, but now they can change the dials and tweak the algorithm without anyone knowing, and we can gain and lose without knowing why.
I don’t know about the boost for new stores, though I could see an unscrupulous management wanting to do that. (i.e., “First one’s always free.”) Get new sellers hooked with more sales, then dial down later. But I can’t completely buy into that. Maybe I think too many people are good for that to take place.
But I can see them trying to tweak Cassini to improve search, and it has unintended consequences. Or it has intended consequences, and some sellers are left off. I do know that we have had a LOT of items with 0 views on eBay lately. Not sure if they were really 0 or if the database just didn’t track the view, or the report is just not showing what the true views were.

It may not be one site, but more niche sites for specific items. As eBay is more on the new items now, and can’t fund it’s growth without it, it may go the way of fighting Amazon. I think this would be a mistake.
eBay’s USP is that it is the place to find unique and discounted items. The “Fill Your Cart With Color” fit that USP. But after that, I’m not seeing the follow up.
The smaller sites know what they are and would love to have the growth from fresh blood that is going away from eBay. Dunno, not all doom and gloom, but I can definitely feel a shift…
That is quite the rabbit hole…
Very nice!

Sigilini: no problem at all.
Email me directly at tsatterf@yahoo.com and I can give you my cell number.
I think SixBit works because it is a true database in your own computer. I’m really glad we have it for things like this. Like listing insurance…
That said… I’m going to backup our hard drive tonight… 😁
Glad to hear it!
Retro: You can go ahead and let the logo appear if you want to save the three dollar fee. It will still be fine.
We pay the three dollars to remove the fee. But that’s just us…
