Great!! Thanks again, Jay! 🙂
Hopefully I linked right. I’m not too savvy on message boards these days.
I don’t have much on Etsy right now at all and sales have been slim to none. I still get a favorite or two each day. I am also going to check out your articles. I could definitely use some inspiration.
Wow!! Congrats!!! I wish you the best!
Thanks for your advice, Jay.
So I messaged the buyer through ebay and sent them a photo of the copy of the customs form, and asked them to wait a few more weeks. I have a sneaking suspicion that I’m being scammed, because the buyer has not responded to me, though I know they can speak English or at least use an on line translator, because they contacted me in English before they purchased the belt. So I sent them another message through the resolutions process and just used Google Translate to figure it out. I sent them my message in French!
So since I sent them a message through the formal resolutions process, are they required to respond or can they just continue to completely ignore me? Anyone know?
What fun!
I sold a doorknob for $375. I got it in a huge lot of items that I purchased for $40 off a friend who was selling off the contents of her antique booth. She had the doorknob priced at $26 in her booth and it sat there for over a year. I thought it looked really cool, it was chrome and had a ribbed edge, and a lock with keys attached. I went to list it and did some research, turned out to be from one of those old AirStream campers, and highly sought after. Took only about a week for it to sell.
Needless to say, now I look for them everywhere I go!
Everyone where I work gets very excited when my phone “cha-ching”s! It’s a source of entertainment for us. 🙂
Awesome! I’ll do some investigating! Thanks a lot!!!
You could even just advertise that you’re interested in buying people’s old junk. If you have a truck you could offer to haul their stuff to the dump or thrift store in exchange to keep what you want.
That is wondrous!!!
Oh, awesome! I guess it’s time to start doing that. We’re planning on buying a new printer this weekend, actually. I have been afraid to print labels from my printer because it’s got a mind of it’s own much of the time!!
Thanks!!
Wow, those are almost exactly like the ones I have. Thank you! The black piece under the cup is slightly different, the ones I have are spherical.
This is also making me realize that I don’t have a great side view shot of these candle holders, so I will have to take more photos.
I will bookmark that website for future use!!
Hmmm okay I didn’t think about looking at the attachment, thanks! Mine don’t have that U shaped piece, but there is a black ball under the cup piece, and the U shaped pieces are also black.
I did look into the Chase company but still could not come up with these particular candle holders.
I might be missing something here, because I am a new seller and still learning the shipping ropes, but I know that Priority limits went from being 16oz or under to 13oz or under. So if I had something listed for First Class shipping and it was a 14 oz item, Ebay did not automatically change that in my listing. It still charged the customer the original First Class shipping cost, and it ended up having to go Priority. I had to go through my listings in the bulk editor and make the changes, one by one. 🙁 I was kinda bummed about that.
Wow I have some paint by numbers in my antique booth and they take forever to sell. I might have to try them on Ebay!!
