Amatino – I’m not sure how it works, but I think eBay is not counting late shipments against the sellers because of COVID. So, if you had to have the issue, maybe you had good timing?
They are vintage Zenith Trans Oceanic multi-band radios which I sell at $100 or more, at least for the working ones. I had one partially working and one working that I did videos to showing the condition. I did not do a video for the non-working one.
3 listings. I made videos for two of them, so there’s that.

I heard the issue was Ayden, not Apple Pay, but either way, I think that they will come up with a solution. eBay should be more “up front” with sellers if they see a way through so that people won’t just pull that stuff.
I had another good week on eBay. I had thought those days were over, but no! I did have a pretty expensive return request. They haven’t sent it yet, but I’m sure that they will.

05/21/2020 at 9:21 pm in reply to: Vintage La Barge wall mirror, Ouija board, Panapet radio, Pull down kitchen lamp #77677I’ve had this book from a closeout purchase about three years ago. I have a few copies. It is kind of relevant now, but I’m surprised I’ve only had one recent sale.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184193580672One of my parents’ friends gave me a set of 35 ceramic door knobs. The set sold for $28.86 on sale. Because they were ceramic, I wrapped them carefully in bubblewrap. Buyer left very positive feedback, and I assume it had at least partially to do with my overly paranoid packing.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/183898643401I bought this metal tool box for $5.75 at an online auction, and it sold for $44. Because it is pretty sturdy on its own, I wrapped some bubblewrap around the two sides, wrapped it in thick plastic sheeting, and taped it up.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184222197152I was surprised that a bog of jewelry I received on commission had some gold rings in it. Three to be exact. I knew that many were sterling or gold over sterling, but I didn’t know that some were solid gold.
In a different sort of surprise, my husband went through his closet last week and found an unopened battery pack for a drill he no longer owns. It sold overnight.
Follow Jay’s link.
Start an unpaid item case. The buyer then has 4 days to pay. If he doesn’t pay, then the case closes, you get your money back, and the item can be relisted. The buyer gets some kind of “black mark” on their account.
I had to give my SSN to PayPal, so eBay would need it as well. I don’t file my taxes under the company EIN, so I have to give my SSN.
On the other hand, eBay should say how they protect your personal information. I can’t imagine that they don’t have that somewhere.
Sure, what you are saying makes sense. I’ll pick one of the boxes and go with that. Perhaps I will get to one of them this month anyway.
I had two items sell on auction this week, but neither of them were part of the challenge. I think I will be totally out done on my own challenge. Really, though, the idea was to share a tactic I use to get rid of older inventory.
Question on June’s challenge: Can we get more than one entry to the June challenge if we have more than one box? I know of three boxes (one is kind of a pile) that I could enter.

This week, though, I have a few things outside of eBay that I have to do, so I’m hoping on listing three radios that I have ready to go. If I get those three done, I’ll be happy enough.
I also offer my Fed Ex discount to buyers because I feel I want to be competitive for heavier items. I do not offer my USPS discount so that I can account for mistakes or cover some of the fees.
Whenever I’ve had a return, eBay gives the buyer a label, and you don’t get a choice. If you shipped priority, then the label is priority (unless you upgraded them, so it might revert back to the original shipping. I’ve never really noticed.). If the buyer goes to the post office and pays retail, then you aren’t responsible for the higher price or even return shipping in general. The deal with returns is that the buyer has to use eBay labels. This might be a bit different with an international return, but I’ve never had to deal with that.
As far as the message you get, eBay is warning you that a buyer can decide not to return the item and is not penalized if you refund early. If you sold something cheap and you don’t want to pay the return shipping, then ignore the message and just refund them.
