I would go with aster for the blue flowers.
I’m glad to help. Just one word of advice: trying to id the pattern by scrolling through is good. Use the pattern identification tool only when you’re stumped. I’ve used it a few too many times, apparently, and got an e-mail from Replacements basically telling me that I was abusing their generosity. Naturally, they want to be helping customers, not competitors. So just use it sparingly. 🙂
Have you tried the Pattern Identification Service on Replacements.com? https://www.replacements.com/identify.htm
I specialize in fine jewelry. It’s 80% of my shop. I wouldn’t recommend selling jewelry on eBay, because I’ve had bad experiences with returns. I sell on Etsy, which is much more favorable towards sellers as far as customer service issues go.
It was a very steep learning curve to get to where I am today. You have to learn how to test metals and gemstones. You have to get accurate measuring equipment and show photos of your measurements. This is the only way to ensure that what you send out is what the buyer ordered, and to ensure that what they return is the exact same item. (On Etsy, anyway. On eBay, I don’t think you have any protection.) For the past 3 years, I have been grossing in the six figures, and I’m well on track to do so again this year. So for me, it is worth it.
Over the past two years, I have sold two cars on eBay, and I may start selling some furniture for local pick-up, because Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist haven’t been working very well for those items. Etsy doesn’t offer an option for local pick-up.
Welcome, Steve!
I’ve done both short-term and long-term rentals, and both have their pros and cons. Right now, because of local regulations against short-term, I’m exclusively long-term, and that is working out very well, too.

Welcome, Wendy.
I can so relate to everything you mentioned, including the broken wrist! I broke mine two years ago. Did you get the titanium plate?
I have been exclusively on Etsy for most of the past five years, but like many, started on eBay a few decades ago.

It looks like something my daughter would re-purpose into a steampunk belt or jewelry.
Welcome, Kimberly! We have two grown children and two grandchildren, and my husband is also looking to make that state retirement check lure him away from his job one of these days. 🙂
Beautiful! Even if you don’t find the pattern on Replacements, you might be able to find out what the particular piece is called (tureen, vegetable dish, etc.). Also, Replacements has a pattern finder service that is very good. They identified the pattern on a 1939-era Limoges lidded vegetable dish for me.
Nice! Great job!

It looks like it may have been some kind of equipment for a parachutist, especially the instructions for a “finder.” This bag was expected to be lost, and perhaps found by somebody?
Hello, Melanie!
I’m in North Carolina, former military, had an Army son. We have three properties in North Carolina, two of them coastal. (We have pit bulls…they don’t like the cold.) I’d love to chat about your NC plans. I sell vintage on Etsy, mostly estate jewelry.
