i need to read this whole thread, but i wanted to ask what kind of web work you do? drupal, wordpress, another CMS? no CMS? design? just curious. you said software too, do you make apps?
as jay mentioned, we are mac people. my first was an apple IIe in elementary school, never looked back. i use a 2011 dual-core i7 27″ imac and a 2011 core i7 macbook pro. both still work great for us. i never want to let my imac go! the thing is fast. so if you want to move to a mac, you can get the older models, that still have a lot of power to them (mine are 5 years old, i can’t believe it) for cheaper on ebay.
yep i think you should run a sale, but why not just move your inventory if you think they are quality items? it’s your business, so moving them would partly be a business expense. if you have some junky items, move them out or donate. cull that stuff and keep the good stuff to bring with you.
just do the cheapest way to KY warehouse in the same box. but if you use smartpost, be sure to write in the extra zero for the suite number 200, it cuts off the 2nd zero. so weird! but yeah you should combine into one box, as ebay might be weird about paying for double the shipping after it was combined? not sure acutally, this is a new problem.
i’m in the pilots and yes you’d be able to accept a return and then charge your buyer for shipping for mis-using returns. i have had a chance to do it, but worked it out a different way. so the next time, i should accept a return and just try to use the new program to test it.
what are you putting in your shopify store? any success with that? i heard you can get buyable pins for pinterest through your shopify store, i almost started one just for that reason alone.
hi nancy! have you had any trugether sales or messages? just curious. they are a weird site in my opinion.
i love hearing of places where yard sales happen year-round. but i’m glad it gets cold in VA, so we don’t turn into total hoarders.
