99.9% of everything I buy from thrifts or yard sales is already laundered.
People don’t pull clothes from their dirty laundry pile to donate – they pull them from their closet, which means they were already laundered. Most of my items smell like laundry detergent. Why would I go through the effort of washing them again?
It is the rare item I have that actually needs laundered and that is usually because of a stain I missed when I bought it.
2. Edit active listings directly in Seller Hub
–I liked this feature on Amazon where you could adjust the price without having to click through to the item. Cool. The irritating thing is that this used to be possible and they took it away! Every time I work on condensing totes in my storage it bothers me I can’t adjust prices and quantity on the fly. This will be nice to have back.
If your state is not one of the states ebay is collecting and remitting for, then YES you have to collect sales tax in your own state.
Yeah it was a short lived experiment. The jacket sold on ebay in less than 24 hours at full price, so I deleted the poshmark listing. Ebay wins!
I’ll try a couple more when I get the motivation.

You have a ton of NWT ties – how did you get into ties? I’m assuming you happened upon an “all in” lot at some point. It has been a while since I’ve shopped the tie racks as they always just seem to be junk ties from Sears and Wal-Mart.

New Listings 23A nice rebound in sales from last week. I did list some items and did a promoted listings update with more items and realigning the trending rates.
I sold a pair of J Lindberg boots for $150, and I also sold 4 pair of Asics running shoes to the same person at $50 a pair.I think everyone at my house is now officially done with the stomach bug. I never got it. Why? Because I took a dose of Elderberry syrup every day. I was up to my elbows in all of it giving direct care to all my kids and wife and handled all the soiled laundry for days at a time. Laying with sick kids, using the same pillow, etc.
If you don’t have elderberry syrup in your medicine cabinet, you should!
Spring is almost here and I am SUPER excited. I bought a plug aerator off facebook marketplace for cheap so I can start to repair my sad, sad yard. Gonna get the yard fixed, do some major ebay organizing/listing, etc etc. I’ll be off work once the new baby is here in April for 2 weeks so I will be doing a lot of ebay.

So yeah, poshmark is still cheaper.I HATE that promoted listings is a thing…but after experiementation it is an absolute requirement to keep high sales for my store.

Ali G In Da House is a guilty pleasure movie of mine.02/24/2019 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Holy sticker shock Batman! 14oz 1st class package cost buyer $7.85! #57562Just had another one charged $7.85 for a 14 oz first class package. My cost was $5.12
Why is ebay charging the buyer so much?
I’ll be honest, I no longer have any desire to try and call ebay to get issues fixed…I’ve recently been using a male bottom half mannequin for mens pants. I have a female bottom half as well.
Keep an eye out for department stores going out of business in your area. They sell all their mannequins. I’ve acquired quite a collection of mannequins that I need to thin out actually.

A couple years ago scammers completely destroyed craigslist here. I had alerts set up for a couple searches that would turn up great finds. Then one morning I woke up to HUNDREDS of alert emails. Scammers were keyword spamming like crazy.
Craigslist became completely un-usable after that and I abandoned it completely. Around this same time the facebook groups were really starting to pick up steam as well.Water? You mean like in the toilet?
Well here’s the weird thing – when I check my late rate the other day it was explicably 2% points lower than BEFORE the new lates. It also wasn’t as bad as I thought – just 4 items went overdue.
I guess some old lates fell off the 12 month calculation at just the right time.
Yep,
I just put the cancel request in as quick as possible and be done with it. I don’t give a crap what the reason is – just thankful the person stated they want to cancel rather than go radio silent on me so I have to wait for the unpaid item case. -
