Very informative thread and post.
Thanks All!
I really need to put a fire under my ass. I’d love to twin up with Marie! Can I include the items I list on etsy also? Some items are cross listed but I’d only count that as one listing, obviously. 😉 ATM I have 25 items listed on etsy and 19 on ebay. I’m very new to ebay and still learning the ropes. My death pile is extreme. I’d be too embarrassed to post pictures. I stopped buying many moons ago. I need some accountability or I’ll keep procrastinating. I think a minimum of 10 a week is doable with my schedule.

My husbands an electrical contractor and he’s done a few of these for friends. I’m going to look further into this. Ladders and drilling holes are his thing! 😉 Thanks Inglewood!
A gun holster?

I’ve found it very encouraging and useful. I’ve sold on and off part-time and full-time (when my husband injured his back) on another site for years. I was able to cover the mortgage and bills when needed. Didn’t sleep much but slept better knowing we weren’t going in a hole. I truly love buying crap for pennies and selling it for $$$. I was scared of eBay and put off selling here regularly for years. I don’t know why, I’ve never had a problem as a buyer or a see seller. So, my new years resolution is to work both venues to the best of my ability. List,List,List and Ship,Ship,Ship.
My goal is to make enough to cover our daughters tuition. She’s a big help when I’m buying at church fairs. My no.1 bag carrier and clothing and shoe picker. She’ll be learning to list and ship over spring break.
I should mention I’m a hobby waitress 3 nights a week (which I love) and I help my gf with her cleaning / housesitting business when needed. Both jobs pay decent but buying and selling gee-gas and rust is way easier, imo.
Wishing you all BIG sales!

Especially when I’m holding tools. Love to listen to you guys!

Storage. #32186Before I leave for work, I wanted to add, I had a sale today and noticed that tracking wasn’t automatically added into ebay as I thought it did with my past sales. Am I suppose to add this manually? I did but I thought it was automatic. Total newbie here.

02/02/2018 at 1:20 am in reply to: Looks like Ebay is partnering up with another Payment Processor #31904From what I understand Etsy uses Adyen as a payment processor for their direct pay. Payments are scheduled to deposit weekly into your business bank account. You can request an earlier deposit. I prefer PayPal deposits just for the ease of using my card and getting the cash back bonus, so I’ve kept a stand alone PayPal (grandfathered in) but most of my sales are paid through etsy direct pay. I’d say customers prefer it. It’s nice to be able to pay my sellers fees and shipping fees directly through Etsy Direct. I do wish I had the choice of leaving $ in there and having a credit card like paypal but that’s not an option since it’s just a payment processor.

I’ve done that with milkglass vases over on etsy under “vintage wedding decor”. I usually pay .25-.50 for the short and tall bud vases and sell similars in a bulk lot for about $5 each. They usually sell quick, especially during spring and summer.

I Love that piece! I’d love to know how you make out with it. Black amethyst glass is cool and she’s a beauty. 🙂

and yeah, it’s the perfect combo. Cash is king, imo.
I work 3 swing shifts a week. They try to give me more but I’m like “if you do I’ll quit now”. Thankfully, I have a lot of regulars.
