My subscription expired on April 1st, so I downgraded to a basic store since I have a little over 1000 listings and 80% of items are in the collectibles category. This morning it is showing I have 0/1000 listing left. It doesn’t look like they are giving us the collectibles listing for free now. I’m going to give it a few days and see what happens, otherwise I will have to go back to premium.
Ok, I see it. Looks over 80% of my items are collectibles. Thanks
Where can I see how many listings I have left? I just hit 1000 listings, but most are in the collectibles categories. Does anyone know if the free listings are a permanent thing? If it is, I will go back to the basic store.
Gunne Sax dresses and sewing patterns are hot. I saw that Target is selling some Prairie (like Little House on the Prairie) dresses and people are dressing up and putting their pics on FB. New trend.
Thanks for the good advice. I’m just letting it go and keep listing. I got a thank you post card in the mail from a buyer today. Made me feel much better!
True! For some reason I didn’t think you could leave a neg if the buyer didn’t create a return case. I will just reply to the feedback and go on. I don’t understand why the didn’t open a case if they weren’t happy with them.
01/25/2021 at 10:55 am in reply to: How To Handle Global Shipping NOT AS DESCRIBED Returns ( Please Read ) #85372Help! I made the mistake of accepting a return on a global shipping INAD. I chose the option that I couldn’t buy a shipping label for that country. The buyer says he got a message from eBay saying I am responsible for shipping and asked for my address. How should I proceed?
That’s interesting that JD owns the programming on their tractors. I can see why older models and their manuals are becoming more popular. We recently bought a 1970s JD tractor and bought the manual on eBay to help hubby work on it.
Whiplash Lp mailers are great. You don’t have to pad them out. Plus, according their video, the mailers can survive lots of mishaps! https://whiplash-shipping-supplies.myshopify.com/#buy
If you hold them up to a bright light and they look purple, they are black amethyst. They look decorative. Maybe someone used them for centerpieces for an event.
You mentally id and price items in friends houses.
Hi – I started selling in 1999 and have sold on and off over the years since I am addicted to yard sales, flea markets, and especially auctions. I am a K-12 school librarian in a very rural area and I still enjoy my job, but have been thinking about retirement. After listening to all the episodes of Scavenger Life, I decided to try a store to see if I would be able to make enough money to pay my health insurance after retirement. I have had my store for a little over a year and I do make enough to pay my insurance plus extra. I love having an eBay store and wish I had opened one years ago. I like to sell antiques and collectibles, and especially ephemera. I don’t really like to pack items, so I tend towards things that don’t break and are smallish.
It seems redundant to type in the title of the book and the author in the item specifics when all the information is in the title.
We have a 1998 Tacoma that the frame rusted out and hubby welded it. I wish we had known up this way back when. The apparently Toyota buying the trucks back in the 90s for 1 and 1/2 of the blue book value, but we heard nothing about it.
Thank you!
