Thank you Sonia, found a bunch of info on him. This place rocks! Brian
My sons idea is to (as a buyer) send hundreds of real lowball offers and hope a couple stick…he hasn’t done it, but he keeps threatening to
Wow, thanks! I looked up the pattern, but did not see this piece listed. Replacements is a great place to find the pattern name on china etc.. i use it often. I found a spoon the other day that was going to be melted for silver scrap and sold it for 90 bucks!
Here are a couple more shots..
The Mavica! Thanks.. I was wondering all evening what it was..also when I started eBay was auctionweb..
Went to an auction and bought a table lot for 25 bucks. There was a box of ties, and as I went thru them a Gucci men’s watch fell out! Just sold it for 139.00! Tons of other doo dads too. Anyone have luck selling beanie babies?
I do ok buying units that are up for auction online. I put in cheap bids and every once in a while I win one. You gotta do a few dump runs, but I find a bunch of stuff for eBay..
Always remember when dumpster diving.. (Or rummaging at the dumps swap shop)the return policy is great!

Driving in countries where the signs are not in English is something I will not do while on vacation.. too much stress.. we were in Italy last year and I would not have had any fun if I was driving. We took the train and taxis and I was able to have a glass or two of wine while we explored Rome and Florence. Going back next year..going to go to Venice..no cars….Hope I don’t fall in the canal.. Brian

“Reminds me also of my neighbor that buys storage lockers like those fake TV shows – he seems to have a dumpster permanently in his driveway and his routine seems to be buy a locker, empty and clean it out for the storage place, bring home everything, and place it in the dumpster, and complains about how he never finds anything of value.”
I have been doing real well with storage units…
Old croquet sets… grab the set even if it’s in bad shape.. throw away everything but the balls.. they sell quickly for 25-35 bucks.. I have sold 5 or 6 sets….
There will be a bunch listed on craigslist..I’ll have one the weekend you are here if you want 🙂 there is a flea market at Seekonk Speedway which is near the Rhode Island line..look it up online..Brian
