I have started pre-bagging and I love it. I keep my clothing items and linens in bins. It’s so easy to grab the item (and know it does not need any more prep or presentation) and throw it in a mailer.
Just followed you all. I am brownfieldvintage.
November and December have been very good for me. November — 12 sales and December so far — 11 sales. This is quite a bit more action than I have ever experienced on the Etsy platform. I am up to about 139 items in my Etsy shop (versus 450ish on eBay). I’ve had four sales since Christmas Day.
I have one item cross-posted on eBay and Etsy. I prefer to keep my items separate.

I JUST did this a few minutes ago. Talked to a Fed Ex dude who instructed me how to submit the Smart Post Claim through the eBay site. We will see what happens now. What I find odd is that when I submitted my claim on eBay, I was not given an option to submit a photograph of the damaged item or to give any extra information. Only “Click to submit”. Maybe they will check the messages the buyer and I sent each other, as well as the picture of the damaged item.
The only other time I have submitted a claim was through USPS. It took about 5 weeks to get my money back.
adnauseam, Click on your user name under your avatar. It will bring up your profile page. At the bottom on the left, click on “edit”. That should take you to the right place.
Thanks, adnauseam! Yes, international shipping is so expensive. Gonna visit and favorite your shop now!
I love that Bonanza auto-imports eBay listings and also deactivates an item when it sells on eBay. Etsy doesn’t sync as nicely with Bonanza. You have to import Etsy listings manually to Bonanza, and also manually deactivate/delete items once they sell.
I have about 129 items up in my Etsy shop, and about 450 in my eBay store. I do so enjoy selling vintage items on the Etsy platform. I look forward to reading some of your articles, Paperly! I want to improve my business!

Nancy, I have been to the WE store in Wausaukee numerous times. We lived in the Pembine area for about 21 years. Now we live in the U.P. of Michigan and so we are getting acquainted with the thrift stores and garage sales in the Marquette area, as well as summer and fall auctions.
