Today I mourn a Loss.
After listening to scavenger life since around episode 100 many many years ago. I had fallen about 3 months behind on episodes and skipped ahead to “The End”.
It hit me like a ton of bricks, like a punch in the gut like, like losing friends.
I am not a regular poster to the forum, but I had to put my thoughts out here. Even though the show was always about “selling on ebay” but it was also more. It was about your lives, your unique perspectives, personalities, and your ideas you poured into it. And though I realize you don’t know me at all. After years of listening to you I feel like I know you both. No not everything about you, but at least like a friend ive seen 500 or so times. It is such a strange thought to think going forward that I wont hear your voices and thoughts.
I know I know that we can download the old ones but that’s just not the same as knowing new ones are coming. Some part of me hopes that you guys will consider doing like a monthly podcast just talking about life in your small town, or something like that but I understand that you are busy and also that doing that just might not interest you.
Regardless of all that let me say THANK YOU for all the years you guys spent doing this. It has been wonderful getting your help and Ideas with my ebay store. And It has been wonderful feeling like I got to know you. As Mr Rogers said “The greatest gift you ever give is your honest self.” SO thank you for that gift. It has been a pleasure listening to you all these years.

FOLLOW UP. MAN WAS I WRONG!!!! I had a legit offer for 700 from a local print shop I was going to go with and then a print shop in California saw my add on craigslist sent me 840$ and prepaid shipping labels. considering I would have taken offers on everything on ebay and ebay fees, I made about the same money I would have selling them on ebay.
I need a time machine to go into the past and say ” Calm your self fool, its going to be just fine”

PS: Including this sale, I had an $1180 day of sales, thats usually what I get in about 2 weeks. What a hell of a day!
Thanks to Everyone! And thanks to Jay Specifically, after a day to cool down and take a deep breath, I agree with you completely. I have decided to protect the Golden Goose and I cross-posted the cartridges to Facebook marketplace / Offer Up/ Let go/ and Criagslist today. I have my doubts that they will sell on any of those platforms, BUT I did get a low ball offer from ten states away on offer up so thats promising that someone that far away saw it.
Jay you were right, I knew, but I was just overwhelmed with emotions and feelings of powerlessness and it sort of makes you stop being logical and start spinning around in circles grasping at bad ideas. I knew I needed Help/Support to get my head on straight and I am Glad I came here for it and got it!

According to that guide:”If it has a three-digit stamp on the inside of a button, e.g. “555”, the jacket is an LVC reproduction and should be sold as such. These are still nice jackets, but they’re no collector’s pieces.”
mine has 524 stamped on the buttons….faintly on the back of each one…so I am guessing this means it is not vintage?
I cant find anything like this oneon ebay.
I am starting to think it might be reproduction though because it has 3 faint numbers on the back of the buttons and it has only one copyright 4 on the little red tab.
Comps on levis jackets seem to be all over the board even the repos have a range of 100-900, and the non repos have a range of 100-3000. I am really not sure what to do, or how to list this I dont want to say its vintage if it turns out to be a repo…. maybe Ill list it with NO claims… not sure…. open to suggestions…

Ive watched terminal 99 many times great channel, the other one is new to me I will check it out!
