I love the scavenger life and shampoo and booze podcasts. I also have many other podcasts I enjoy but they are in no way related. one of the most depressing times every week is when I hear this podcast is ending in 3, 2, 1…. becuase I know I now have a whole week to wait until my next fix. I do better listing and getting my stuff up with the moral support provided by listening to ryan and jay. Does anyone know any Similar related to the topic of Ebay (or possibly amazon but only if they scavenge and are not talking about branding) scavenging podcasts?

It’s not a podcast, but I really enjoy watching videos from Craigslist Hunter on Youtube. This guy runs a pawn shop in the Chicago area, but makes a lot of his money on eBay. He does videos of his pawn shop, him dumpster diving, going to garage sales or thrift stores, or just discussing eBay.

I enjoy listening to Ebay Radio Podcast. I have learned a lot from this podcast and the many people that call in or are interviewed. But I will say this it is a “radio show” and has a lot more “fluff” for lack of a better term. Scavenger life is much more bang for your time investment in my opinion.

I know you asked for scavenging and selling podcasts, but I’ll put the off-topic ones I like to listen to:
Stacking Benjamins – Financial podcast where they don’t take the issue too seriously. Good information in a variety of personal finance areas. Not specifically for Financial Independence listeners or the self-employed, but for anyone who is interested in financial topics.
Afford Anything – This is done by Paula Pant and is how I found Scavenger Life podcast. She did an interview with Jay and Ryanne back in the beginning. It is another financial/life philosophy podcast, but she delves into topics like passive income through rental property, time management, financial independence, and other good topics through interviews.
Planet Money – This is an NPR podcast that I like. The topics are often more macro economics in nature and are wide ranging from the process of buying and selling oil to the fake news business to setting up an offshore company. The episodes are short 20-30 min stories that I find to be an interesting look into how things happen in the economy.
I’d say those are my three additional favorites to help fill more of the week. Plus, when iTunes did a massive past episode dump onto my podcast list, I just went with it and have been listening to the SL podcast episodes over again.

Like Zach I follow Craigslist Hunter and several other eBay sellers on YouTube. Overall I’d say Scavenger life is the only true “Podcast” that I’ve found and like. Here are some of the YouTube people I follow:
Terminal99 – Scavenger Life has interviewed him in the past, he does “pickup” videos but he finds some really cool stuff. He also has a huge inventory and pays people to help list for him: https://www.youtube.com/user/terminal99
Golden Finger Picker – This guy does a weekly live show with other guest resellers called “The Resellers Pulse” which he then posts on YouTube. He tends to ramble and the videos can be kind of long but its interesting to hear the perspectives from his eclectic group of co-hosts: https://www.youtube.com/user/GoldenFingerPIcker

I have a weird schedule and more time for audio. This is my favorite podcast by far. I also listen to Ted Talks when I am driving or walking the dog with closer to full attention. When I’m just half listening – like when I’m photographing or listing – I sometimes listen to YouTube Jason T. Smith’s Thrifty Business and Selling Past Your Expiration Date because I don’t really need to look at the screen. He has ties to Ebay so he does cover Ebay developments quickly and I like Tiki. If I can glance over, I also watch/listen to ThePaperCastle on YouTube. She shows marks and discusses a lot of East Coast brands but has a storyteller style describing strange yard sale encounters. Personally, I find them pretty hard to listen to due to the lack of content and rambling, but I have tried Golden Finger Picker and Pinching Pesos’ Reseller Stew in a pinch. Terminal 99 has interesting items and I need to look. His voice makes me sleepy.

A timely tip from one of my facebook groups:
“I found these two best friends, Kathleen and Eric, recently on their iTunes podcast Thriftycast. They are collectors not sellers, but their calm and often amusing discussions about the things they love and buy, and also love but leave on the thrift store shelves, is often just what I need after a hectic day. Hope others will show them some love~”

HI Guys I love this podcast series of course! but another great series is Open for Business it is actually by Ebay. There are about 7 podcasts only but they are worth listening to.
The Unstoppable Entrepreneur Show with Robyn Johnson is good. The Side Hustle Show is a good one and So you wanna Sell on ebay.
I listen to podcasts while I post or drive. I find these to be pretty good.Happy Picking!

I’ve been watching a lot of Nicole State’s State’s Place on Youtube lately. She sells all clothing on ebay and postmark. Although I don’t sell much clothing she also talks about reselling in general and I’ve learned some good things from her.

ChristineR – I love Thriftycast! Their instagram is also hilarious. Ashana – I binge listened to My Favorite Murder recently, so inappropriately entertaining, & addicting. I kind of had to stop though, it was making me scared at home… checking that I locked doors, windows, etc. ha ha.
I’m always on the lookout for outstanding podcasts too, for me lately, the more unproduced, the better. I also listen to reseller youtube videos in the background while working, KaylaCrystal is a pretty good one, Crystal is pretty funny in particular.
For those of you into contemporary art, there’s a podcast called “The Jew and the Lotus”, often bawdy, but also informative and entertaining, 2 “gallerists”, one in Los Angeles, one in Portland, talk about art goings on.
