While I was out walking, I was thinking something similar. That they were nails or spikes or something and were repurposed. I was wondering if they were from a car. I swear the stamp on them says Mustang. It’s too small for me to read though.
Hi Jay, Thank you for that information. I was not aware but will remember that. I bought them at an auction with a bola, a concho belt, and a horse pendant by Bell Trading Post (although this is a southwestern jewelry maker and not Native American). Thanks for your input.

It sold for $27.50 plus shipping…it was part of a lot of trinket boxes I won at an online auction so I may paid $1 or less for it. Not too bad for something I was not expecting to sell at all!

I’m not sure if anyone would come back to this post after all this time, but after some digging, I found out what this is. It’s Johannes Brahm 3-d cigarette box. It sold fast, so if you ever find one, I recommend picking it up.

For some reason my husband still has the ability to do it the old way in his store but I do not. I’m not sure why there is the difference between stores.

The rose is on the lid of the larger container in which the two smaller dishes nest and the lid goes on to contain them, so I don’t think the smaller ones are missing a lid. I was also thinking maybe the smaller dishes are for tea bags.
Thank you for the clarification…my instincts told me that there was a possibility and you just confirmed that yes, in certain circumstances, it might be possible. And no, no one would want a nasty shock!

Thank you for the input and for the assurance that I wouldn’t be electrocuted is I were to cut them. However, after reading the feedback, I wouldn’t cut them, I would just list as untested/as-is.
