The flat base makes me think it might sit on a table and then something can be placed in the circle, but not sure what that would be.
Could these be the base of something? Same height, sturdy bottom….
Or, an adjustable ashtray.

I do plan on hiring a CPA next year but this year I really don’t have the profit or money to do it. I did participate in an online resellers tax academy which mentions this discount so I wanted to see if anyone else takes it especially those who may be doing their own taxes.
This is my first year filing taxes for ebay and so far it is daunting. I really admire those of you who just jumped into ebay as a lifestyle and as a main income source. I did do an online tax sellers academy which helped a lot, but now the nitty gritty process of filling out form (and the pressure from my husband to get moving, so we can file) is really stressing me out.
I have never received a 1099 from ebay or paypal past or present so I guess that may not happen until I grow my business more.
So I am with you @sonia working on those taxes!! I’m hoping at some point to make enough profits to hire an accountant to do them!
Hi @sonia I am new to GDBK and to tracking my ebay sales so I appreciate your post and the heads-up.
Thank you, @sonia That sounds like a good solution as well! I appreciate it!
Thank you @Sharyn That is what I thought. I am new to all of this, so I truly appreciate your response!!

Thanks @Sharyn and @Jay I appreciate the input.
To add to that question, how do you estimate if you sell something that someone gave you as a gift? Do you enter $0 for COGS or do you do an estimate on the cost?
What about items you don’t have a receipt for? Do you enter $0 or do you estimate? Sometimes I don’t have a receipt for an item but I remember what I paid for it (usually $1 from a yard sale of something like that!)
Thanks again. I truly appreciate the input!
Thanks @so-cal-joe that is a good point. I wasn’t certain how checks could even work if I didn’t have a paper one on hand 🙂 So thanks for explaining how that would work. Things have changed so much that even talking about checks seems so old fashioned but I KNOW there will be that one instance when I would need one!
Thank you @gargolfer I will check them out!
