I’ve been having the same issue. I haven’t found a rhyme or reason to it either.002/13/2017 at 3:05 pm in reply to: Autograph on talking bobblehead for the movie The Room #12436
I took a better look at the back of the book and it looks like it is a book club edition. They used to have 5-6 number codes on the jacket of a book club versus a UPC code like the trade version would have. I can’t find any photos of the book club version to be compare the cover to. Also, some book club books are shipped out shrinkwrapped as your book is.
I did find another listing for the same book on ebay:
Book person here. IT is out of print, but I wouldn’t say it is a rare copy. I see them quite a bit although I do see the paperback version more than the hardback version. Here is the link to the listing on Amazon:
Here is the ISBN for you: 978-0618345847
Your price seems fine to me, but if you can get more for it, give it a try. Also I’d change the title from “movie promo” to “movie tie in”.0

I joined and was approved right away.0
Exactly how we ship our comics too. Customers love the attention to detail.0
I’ve had this happen quite a few times also. I contact my customer and double check the address, and see if they have another address they’d like it sent to. Usually, they have me resend it. If I don’t hear back from them, I issue them a refund for the item minus shipping and relist it.
I too sell comics so I’d love to hear how you pack them. 🙂0
I use Stamps.com and am able to print out APO postage there fine. How about printing it out at USPS.com? I used to print out postage there all the time.0
I usually set my items 16 oz or less at first class postage and upgrade it to priority mail if the order is over $20.00, for that free insurahce. I don’t send the customer an email telling them of the upgrade, but I do have a lot of feedback commenting on my fast shipping.0
Box has to say “Flat Rate” on it to ship it using flat rate.001/24/2017 at 12:34 pm in reply to: PLEASE HELP!! I just sold a perfume sample to HAWAII… #11056
Yep, it’s supposed to go ground if you use USPS. I’ve read that FedEx rules do not exclude shipping perfumes by air. Perhaps you could try shipping it FedEx?0
They were issued together so I would sell them together. The price I quoted is for both of them.0
As someone who has worked with books for eons, I would say that this is a reprint in microfiche of those two early Merck Manuals. As a matter of fact here is a link to said reprint: http://umpquavalleymuseums.pastperfectonline.com/library/FCEE8279-A0CF-4B9C-A410-983913892751
So I would say it was published/printed in the 1960’s. As for a value, I couldn’t find any comps for you, but if I had it I would price it around $50 to $75 and see what kind of offers I got on it. None of the listings that Mike found for you are for this exact item.
It is Leafeon.0
I use Stamps.com. They offer the same discount as Ebay does plus you can print out a Scan sheet/manifest so your carrier only has to scan the one bar code and it scans all your packages at once.0
