Nope, just did that – it has the “member’s” ebay issued emails. š¢
Wow that is huge! I have an anchor store right now also, I wonder how we could change over to Premium without penalties – would we have to wait until our renewal date. But, I do enjoy the ability to have phone service customer service – but is it worth the extra $150.00 a month we would be saving(?) Probably not. I will be checking in to this! Thanks for sharing!
Hey WBird – thanks for the info! I found out how! I think I did it… I am going to relist the interested item and hopefully the blocked buyer won’t be able to contact me! I think it removes the “contact” buyer button on the listings for the blocked buyer. We will see!
This is how I did it…Click on “Account” in your My eBay then click on “Site Preferences”, scroll down until you see “Buyer Requirements”, click “Edit”, scroll down to the last option, and click to block members who are on your blocked bidder list from contacting you.
Oh, wow! That would be great! I am going to check it out! Thanks! If I find out how – I will post it!
No, I don’t think so – that would make real sense… once a buyer is blocked they should be blocked from messages also! But as we know Ebay doesn’t think of everything!
You are absolutely right! Inner peace! š
For sure – I think that’s best. Just hope he doesn’t keep on coming after me – like sending me messages. I guess it’s my choice to answer or not. Thanks!
Good idea about removing the item for a while – I think I will do that! Who needs stress! Peace is what I am after! Thanks
09/22/2020 at 1:49 pm in reply to: How many negatives can someone take without getting kicked off of ebay? #81804Yes negative feedbacks. I managed to get 2 out of 4 changed today. Just one of those months! Sell for months on end, everything going good, then bang! Just got to roll with the punches! Funny though the 2 I got removed today, I requested with the customer to change them. I originally called ebay – it was all about slow shipping with USPS and ebay would not remove them because there was no scans for weeks on these items! So, looking around the site, I found a place to ask the buyer to revoke them – I tried – and he did! Good to know Feedbacks are different than the seller metrics. Don’t like getting them (Negative Feedbacks) but I know everyone will get one or two sooner or later. Thanks for reassuring me of the impact.
mrsamylynn, Thank you for starting this thread. I pulled the trigger and signed up for managed payments – ebay will let me know if everything goes through. In the mean time I have a question for you… could my customers still use their Paypal account to purchase from me?
05/04/2020 at 3:39 pm in reply to: How is USPS copping during the Pandemic? Just wondering….. #77020Yep, that is sort of what my “old” post Office (which I worked at for 24 years) looked like a week or 2 ago. I thought to myself – don’t they have a plan “a” or “b” or any other staff to replace the ones that are away. The small retail office was just devastated! Couldn’t keep up with incoming parcels, it was really disturbing to see! (since our income depends on the system!) Since I am a “veteran” of this post office I usaully go to the back loading dock and load my shipments into the cages that get dispatched, and the back up of incoming parcels was something I had never seen during my 24 years at the PO! They are starting to get caught up now, but lots of shipments are behind.
Thank you for the link. I think I like him already, just listening to his criticism of the W.H.O., I agree with him already! I’m going to watch more. Sounds pretty level headed! Thanks! Stay safe!
Hi from Canada!šØš¦ Been very steady and may I say a bit more busier than usual. We sell Vintage Auto parts from 1950’s and older. We thought we would have slowed right down, but not. I guess everyone with car projects in their garages are getting back to them during the stay at home (?) Maybe when people realize that this might take longer to get over – they will be holding onto their money (?)
Might have to do that IndySales… really don’t need to add work to my load. The main reason for this “want” is that I want to keep track of the “low ballers” that give me offers. They seen to come back over and over again. Sometimes I forget that I have dealt with the same person before with the same outcome. šš
10/28/2019 at 7:25 am in reply to: How do you reply to customer inquiries on items shipped and not received yet? #69644Thanks guys, just had to “rant”, just one of those days. I know I signed up for customer service when I started selling on ebay over 15 years ago. I retired from working at Canada Post for 24 years – I guess I just have PTSD about “where is my parcel?”! Good idea about signing the customer up auto notifications, Old Dad.
