I agree with the general consensus. Shaq and Michelle. Otis wouldn’t sign his last name first and then his first name. It’s a clear S first name. Young Shaq looks a lot different than old shaq. For more proof try figuring out the background players. If they were on the team at the same time you have a winner.
I had a code so they knew the topic i was calling about but not exactly what I wanted to know about that topic or do about it. An update though, the buyer did ship the jeans back and I got them today. But due to however he opened the case or however ebay re-opened a case on my behalf, it made me refund him the original shipping which is certainly not right. There was no other option. I’m not a novice seller so I’m used to dealing with problems on ebay and handling them but this one was just screwy all the way around. I guess I could have called ebay, waited forever, and they may or may not have fixed it so I didn’t have to pay the shipping costs. Usually the system handles everything correctly but not on this one. I just hope this week improves. I’ve had 2 dinky sales in 4 days. Yikes lol.
Just a follow up. I made 100 bucks last month on merch. It doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s basically passive income so I’ll take it. I moved up to the 100 tier so I’m able to upload more shirts now. If i get 40 more shirts to sell ill be bumped up to the 500 tier. It’s just pure organic searches that is getting me my sales. I don’t advertise anywhere although I probably should. I just don’t want to spam my friends with shirt links. I could make another account but then I’d have no friends to show them too and frankly I don’t like marketing. So I’ll take the extra income as it comes in naturally.
That’s exactly what I did but she said she couldn’t close it since the forced return case was automatically opened by the system when i called the day before and hung up before speaking to someone. I’m assuming when you guys call, you actually get someone on the line and they close it. Had you hung up before speaking to someone, the system might have opened up an automatic case for you. I don’t know how it picks and chooses what to do. It shows on my account that ebay opened up a case on my behalf. It’s the same date I called and didn’t speak to someone.
I fixed it!!! Don’t ask me how lol. I was subscribing and unsubscribing from different things and one of the ones i subscribed too brought my old platform back. I know i unsubscribed from the seller hub and that didn’t work. So i subscribed to something that had a paid and free version and it fixed my issue. Now my sales totals are back and everything looks normal. I love some of the new features of the newer platform but not at the sake of losing my others. Thanks for reading.
The profit depends on how much you sell your shirts for. I set mine at 17.99 each and it’s 5.49 in profit I think. I think Amazon has a flat 9.80 fee plus 15 percentage of the sale price. I just recall it’s 7 something for a 20 dollar shirt and nothing for an 11 dollar shirt. It’s good for padding your numbers I guess. My goal is not to create 1 shirt that sells a ton but get tiered up to where I can make a lot of shirt designs and have several sell once. Although luckily my second design sold 8 this month. It’s great because other than designing it you do nothing. No customer service, shipping, nothing.

Texas Gal Treasures hosts a weekly merch talk with other youtubers. This one had her sister on it who just got started so she was asking a lot of newbie questions. She sells on eBay too which is how I first found her. I’m pretty sure she knows about you guys.
Sorry for the late reply. I’m a totally newbie at it but I watch a lot of great YouTubers who vlog about it. Texas Gal Treasures is who got me started. She doesn’t do much marketing at all and I definitely don’t. I’m sure she adds them to Pinterest and Facebook maybe but I don’t even do that. People do find them organically as long as your keywords are good and amazon gives you a good rank. I actually don’t do a lot of trending shirts because there’s too much competition and there’s always people who can design better and faster. I do a lot of simple text designs. You save them as a png file and some other pic requirements amazon asks for. But it’s free to upload and you can set your own price and pic shirt colors and edit and delete your shirts as you go. It’s great when your on a lower tier like I am right now of 25. The next tier is 100 then 500 then it’s by invite (whatever that means). It takes forever sometimes to get accepted in but once your in you just need to upload something once to stay active. I didn’t realize it the first time and lost my account. I begged to be let back in but nope. Finally they went thru and mass re-posting people who they previously deactivated. It’s fun. You don’t really need any experience. I have Photoshop but I’m not good at it. I know people who just use pic monkey. You just need transparent backgrounds. They pay you once a month. I encourage everyone to give it a go. Just read the fine print and learn about trademarks and don’t copy anyone’s exact design.
I would like to list for someone or several someones 😉 I already have one regular client and the way it works with her is she tells me upfront how she wants her stuff listed (30 days, first class, returns, etc..)then she uploads her pictures to dropbox and sends me the link. With each item she writes down key info or flaws I need to know for the item and just snaps a pic of it. Then she provides me with her username and password for ebay and I create scheduled listings. That way she can approve everything before it goes live. She pays me 2.00 per listing via paypal after the work is done. It’s that simple. I can write notes to her on the item if need be and it’s a working relationship. It’s a pretty standard set up except price varies based on the clients needs. Usually she provides me with a general price range she wants for her item but often she leaves it up to me to research and price it for her.Either way you can change anything you want before it goes live. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, just let me know and we can get started. I am an ebay seller myself but I’m just looking to make some extra side income as things are tight right now.
I would love to go but can’t afford the travel. Many of the YouTubers I love will be there. Craigslist hunter, golden finger picker, Nicole state, pinching pesos, Hart’s pickers etc
I like descriptive words. It can hype up and item. You just have to be careful with what words you use. Terms that could indicate condition can be tricky but beautiful regardless of it’s condition could still apply. The buyer can agree or disagree simply by looking at the pics.
I contacted eBay and guy didn’t understand or have a clue. He transferred me to the supervisor who understood but still can’t help me. She couldn’t find my missing items either. We’re hoping it’s a glitch but I don’t know how as it told me it was putting my items in the other folder that is now missing. So she’s going to call me back in 24hrs. I asked where she was located because I just like knowing she said and she said I hope it doesn’t upset you but I’m in Asia. That made me feel bad because it’s certainly not their fault that eBay chose to Outsource their customer service. Her English was great and I was very polite to her. I was polite to the guy too but his English was horrible.
02/05/2017 at 11:38 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 296: Are You Keeping Up With Your Inventory System? #11814I feel bad for you Jay. Drafts are so much slower and more tedious than just sell similar. With drafts you have to create each one from scratch and fill in all of the fields and even if you use a template, you have to keep going back out to get it again. Whereas sell similar it carries over all of your info and you can just delete out the pics and change the title and some specifics and everything else stays the same which makes life so much easier. You’re getting shafted Jay lol or just paying your listing dues after Ryannes had to do it all of these years.
11/23/2016 at 3:11 pm in reply to: Is this good or bad? Cutting pics from books and framing to sell #6443Their not really lithos just standard images in a book. Prints of watercolorse really. Stupidly I never thought of just saying they came from a book. Duh self. This may offput some buyers though since its not exactly a print intended for framing. It would be like if you went to the book store and bought a Picasso book and cut out the pages and framed them. I’m weary but it still feels like such a good idea since these images are great. I remember a long time ago i had a Marilyn Monroe book that had nice images in it. A year later I was at a flea market and this person was selling those exact images cut out and framed. I recognized them immediately and just to be sure i slid the frame partially down on one and sure enough there was half cut text on the back from the book.
I guess my next question is regardless of how i choose to sell the images, can i get in trouble with ebay since its not a art print meant for resell? I’m certainly not a art dealer although i sell normal prints all the time. And to be honest some of them may have came from a book for all i know. Hmm. Anyway, thanks for your time.
I did not want Trump to win. To me he’s a ticking time bomb. However the good thing about him winning is the self employment tax decrease from 30% to 15% that he vowed to do. That’s huge for us and if he follows through with that then we all have something to celebrate. It may be the only thing but it’s something.
