Sonia, I have anchor support. I talked to my post master and as it turns out, eBay issued a duplicate shipping label which is why the package was returned to sender. I took a picture of the report and called eBay for the 4th time (yes, really) and finally got an anchor support rep who had common sense. She appealed the case and found it in my favor. I got my money back, but the other lady did too and got to keep the dress. If I could run eBay for just one day, oh how things would be different.
Chiming back in, I don’t offer free shipping. The rep stated that this change in policy was new and the original option to fully refund with or without shipping is a thing of the past. That all returns for fit and buyer’s remorse will require original shipping refunded. I hope she is mistaken.
Julie, It does appear that it’s being forced on us.
Nancy, no. Like I said, she stated that this is new and will be for all returns.
Personally D&D isn’t my style NOR would I have ever picked it up by choice, but I’m sure happy it’s selling. The youtube “gurus” give all kinds of crap advice. Don’t pick up Chico’s, LL Bean, Lands’ End, blah blah blah and I sell that stuff every day. Whatever. More for me to sell!
Yes, just like data entry. Whenever I sell one of these D&D pieces I’m like really? Why do you want this, lol. While I have St John collecting dust, I’m selling this stuff? Craziness.
Yes, I need to get that into my own head. I’m not my target audience. Must make that my new mantra.
Usually I’m a super positive person and always say list list list during slow times, but I am definitely feeling deflated lately with the sluggish sales. Usually I can’t keep up with shipping in November. I have 5 going out today. Horrendous. It’s affecting my productivity and general outlook. The crappy weather isn’t helping either because photos look blah.
I need the eyes of prosperity to shine sooner. Mom has college tuition payments due for her kid, lol.
But seriously, I have been listing heavily the past week which hopefully will help. I wish I could move out of clothing but it constantly ropes me back in.
Jay, you were talking about moving towards higher value items and that’s my desire too. My problem is that I work with a DC area auction house that doesn’t take clothing from the estates they work with. They call me in to get the clothes and I cannot walk away from those items even though I only make $15-$20 on the lower value items because my cost is like .25 an item. It’s the St John and Akris that makes it all worth while, but like I said, it’s hard to walk away from profit with items like Chico’s, LOFT and other ok brands that will sell eventually for ok roi.
I wish they would just leave the site alone until after 4th quarter. Ugh.
Jay…
I’m using Chrome. I called Anchor Support and there’s already a ticket in about this. The site had updates today and some of us are affected. Again.

I have 44 items I’m packing today. This is my normal wrapping. I get tons of positive feedback from people on my packaging and it doesn’t take me very long to make my items look nice. Also, I’m a mom of 4 and time is a premium. I still take the extra seconds to make my items look nicer. It gets me repeat customers.

We’re in the fashion category (mostly preowned) and we had a very strong just over 1K weekend which is great for us. Actually, the past two weeks have been very strong. Our seller hub shows 29% increase over last year. I hope it keeps going in this direction.
Never mind. Clearly I figured it out.
And of course I can’t see the image. Anyone know what I did wrong? I used imugr.
